These works you mentioned that were done, at a Honda dealer that diagnosed them as the ones to do/replace? Or done at your trusted talyer/mechanic?

And yes, as asked by someone, is this the first time you changed your CVT Fluid?

Those works were done by different mechanics, including ex honda mechanic...

And yes sir, when i bought the car 5 months ago i emmediately change the cvtf, engine oil and sparkplug.

If you've done most of the known possible causes, then my advice is to try and bring it to Honda service for their diagnosis. Even if there is a diagnostics fee, you can get what other possible causes they could find as the probable cause and decide how to proceed from there.

    my worst case scenario...
"transmission po. palitan na po natin. 150K po. or, we can try to fix it for 50K, but no guarantees."

Ok, process of elimination kasi yan eh. So kung hindi yung mga na mention na, you may try to consider this post from years ago, worth reading:

so far, i've read na yung flywheel nga yung culprit. there's a number of members here na naayos yung issue by replacing that. it costed them 18k. not sure about the control valve. try asking yung casa if they can replace the flywheel muna and see if it fixes the issue. and make sure na walang damaging effect pag yun lang ang palitan. baka kasi masisira lang ung flywheel eventually if hindi palitan na din ung control valve. you'll end up spending more.

as for my car, 2006 City 1.5 AT, minimal jerking/sliding clutch lang from full stop or backing up. Usually from full stop, nagddrop ng onti ung RPM, causing the car to shake a bit pero once may momentum na, ok na. Mas madalas pag reverse lalo na pag inclined yung road, talagang ramdam yung vibration then yung parang namamatay talaga yung makina. pero for now, i can live with it kasi hindi pa naman ganun kalala.

    HTH!

Good luck, let us know how it works out and drive safe.

Did you check the maintenance history of the car?

Regarding the flywheel, ours has been replaced as well along with wheel bearings. But we had Honda diagnose it first before we had it replaced. 2008 i-dsi. Since it is a somewhat big ticket item when it might not be the issue, I really think just having it diagnosed by Honda is the best course of action so you don't go through multiple trial and errors.

Of course, if they say CVT replacement, I, myself, would be hard pressed to just give the go signal and do a replacement.

The 'shudder' mainly presented itself when starting from stand still and was more pronounced when going into u turn slots.

I dont recall having shudder when shifting to reverse in that instance though.

This was i think back in 2014 or 2015 when it happened.

The more recent one was shudder, especially full stop, ac on while in drive then it could actually kill the engine. Idle Rpm with ac on drops below 800rpm, i think dip to 500 to 600 range and then engine dies. Here also, even when already in motion, there is that feeling where there is a split second cut in power even when you are on the accelerator. So parang nag biglang engine brake ng saglit then tuloy accelerate ulit.

They replaced spark plugs, ignition coil was ok and cleaned throttle body. Sinabay na lang din cvtf replacement. Shudder no longer as pronounced and no more shutdown events. But there is still some shudder when going to full stop while in drive so you have to really shift to neutral to eliminate any remaining shudder.
