marcos' ang tunay na nag umpisang pabagsakin ang pinas at nagpamulat sa mga susunod na regime how to do kurakot, corruption at mga technique how to control the military to their own interest and not for the country.

Democracy doesn't work in a predominantly uneducated society... it's that simple...

You can't give the masses the power to change things if they don't know what they want and how to get it in the first place...

BAD GOVERNANCE.

Agreed. You can get the best craftsmen but still end up with substandard products if your materials are crappy. What we have is a tyranny by an illiterate majority. Sad.

Marami rin nagsasabi na hindi dapat nanghihimasok ang religion sa government na lalong nagpapagulo sa Pilipinas, kaya nga may separation of Church and State sa constitution di ba (PhilConsti 101 :P )

I pratically spent most of my childhood days sa loob ng Catholic school for girls so strongly believe in religion, pero di ko gusto yung nanghihimasok ang religion when it comes sa State-related issues. I worked before sa company na 98% followers ng isang religion (I won't say what) and they said kung sino ang sinabi ng leader na dapat iboto sa election, yun ang dapat iboto nila so virtually no freedom to choose.

Pati El Shaddai (Sorry po sa mga ElShaddai followers) malaki ang influence ni Brother Mike - as in - my sister-in-law's family are El Shaddai followers and ok naman sila, maayos naman makisama in general, pero grabe ang loyalty nila kay Bro. Mike. Mike

I believe prayer works wonders pero I don't like it when they make it so public.

Vatican is the smallest country in the world and it's led by the Pope... So religion is about politics... The question is, do they put politics first or their faith first, you can't really do both and it's clear that a lot prefers to put politics first

Ay honga no. Vatican nga pala is lead by Pope himself the difference is, Vatican is 100% Roman Catholic (yan ang sabi ni wikipedia). I really don't see Vatican leaders as politicians. Para silang convent or seminary or Church na kasing laki ng isang city.

If religion is about politics, alisin na natin yung separation of Church and State.
