totoo yan.. walang system ang perpekto lahat may bug...

    1. but why dont they take action kung alam nilang may nangyayari na palang ganito.

    2. databases are mantained maybe daily, weekly, monthly... pero bat ganon pa rin at nakakalusot tong ganito.. does it mean something happened sa backup nila at nagkaletse letse database nila?

    http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53524

The sad thing about this is that mukhang hindi ito isolated case kasi mukhang dumarami ang incident na ganito. Worse, like the link above and the experience of the thread starter here, IMPOSIBLE na mag-ka-apprehension/violaion sila. In short, the way I see it, mga BOGUS apprehensions ito.

Laking gulat niya may "apprehension" siya, eh paano daw nangyari iyon eh for the past three years bihirang bihira siya mag-drive kasi he has a driver na, and more importantly, he does not remember any incident where he was ever apprehnded by any traffic personnel (MMDA or what have you) in the rare occasions that he did drive by himself.

Worse, from LTO database, the violation is "226 - UNCLASSIFIED". So hindi niya alam for what supposedly he was apprehended.

Pag punta niya sa MMDA to get more details, doon pa lang niya nalaman na ang supposed violation is for "ILLEGAL TURNING" -- WTF????? -- for which the fine is P150.00.

And take note, doon sa VIOLATION INQUIRY printed report ng MMDA where the apprehension is spelled out, blanko yung entry for PLATE NUMBER. Weirder and weirder.

So is this intentional on he part of the MMDA or honest to goodness mistake?

    Calling all media watchdogs..........

System error kamo? How long has the system been running? Three years at least? Hanggang ngayon may bugs? Parang mahirap paniwalaan..

If you mean lumipat ng LTO at baka sa ibang branch eh walag lalabas, then you are mistaken. Kahit lumipat ka pa, lalabas at lalabas yan, so useless to just transfer branches.

You have to go to MMDA office in Guadalupe and settle it from there.

May I suggest that you document the process? That is, keep a zerox copy of the following:

    1) The MMDA APPREHENSION printout that the LTO gave you.

    2) The VIOLATION INQUIRY that the MMDA will print out for you once you go to the MMDA to find out what this is all about.

    3) Any other MMDA document (clearnce, OR's, etc).

This way, even if you do find that paying the fine is the most convenient course of action, you will still have in your possesion these zerox copies.

And if/when, by some stretch of the imagination, some media watchdog or NGO decides to take up the cause and investigate this matter, you can help them out by presenting your case and your documents.

Better still, report these experiences sa Ombudsman and the Civil Service Commission para matingnan

I think totoo yan, I've read it here na sa tsikot a couple of years ago...

kaya kung mahuhuli kayo ng MMDA, yun deposit slip niyo ng binayaran sa MEtrobank i-staple niyo sa OR&CR niyo para pag renewal na you have the receipt pag sinabi na hinde ka pa nagbabayad

in this thread alone, ilan na ang nagsabi na para lang wag maabala, they just pay na lang kahit very clear na walang violation (biggest example would be that coding incident)? So, ang nangyayari, they(LTO/MMDA) just ignore it tutal nagbabayad naman at wala reklamo.

ombudsman? civil service commission? gov't agencies pa rin sir eh... i'll go first sa media.. para aaksyon agad whoever/whatever agencies involve.. and magiging aware pa ang mga tao. IMO, sa panahon ngayon.. maganda kasing sa media muna isumbong. Gaya sa mga napapanood ko sa XXX (ABS-CBN), Imbestigador, Isumbong Mo Kay Tulfo. ;)

Is this a new LTO - MMDA modus operandi?
