Is this a new LTO - MMDA modus operandi?

I don't know if this kind of modus operandi ng LTO and MMDA e me mga tsikoteers nang naka-experience... I just read a thread about this sa BNCXE and this bad experience happened to me today while trying to renew my drivers license.

This morning, I went to LTO Ayala MRT office to renew my driver's license. More than 1 hour dun pa lang sa medical. Nung i-pa-process na yung ID, I was told na meron daw unsettled apprehension sa record nila from MMDA. Nung chineck ko yung nakalagay, I was apprehended daw September last year. Ang nakakapagtaka e this apprehension NEVER OCCURED dahil I haven't driven a vehicle for more than TWO years now since I last sold my car late 2006 (reason also why ngayon lang ulit ako nag-post dito sa tsikot). And kahit na before that, I was never apprehended for any traffic violation. I was told na i-settle ko daw muna sa MMDA office before they could issue a new driver's license. Me mga kasabay ako (tatlo kami) na ganun din ang problema. Yung isa pa nga e, she was contesting na out of the country sya nung date na nakalagay sa apprehension nya.

I read from the other forum (BNCXE) na marami na daw nabiktima ng modus operandi na to ng LTO at MMDA. Marami din cases na kahit na na-settle or nabayaran mo na yung violation ticket e lumalabas pa rin sa record nila na pending yung violation mo. So by the time na mag-re-renew ka e sisingilin ka ulit. At syempre most of us pag matagal na yung violation na yun e wala nang maipakitang resibo to prove na settled na nga yun. Pero kung meron kang proof, e sasabihin nila error lang. So advise ko sa mga merong o magkakaron ng traffic violation... i-settle po ninyo ang violation nyo at itago yung receipt para me maipakita kayo pag nagpa-renew kayo. Pero ang problema is kung wala ka naman talagang violation e pano mo mapapatunayan yun kung ipagpipilitan nilang meron nga sa record nila... so wala kang choice kundi magbayad kahit di mo naman ginawa.

Grabe na at sobra na ang harap-harapang pang-gigipit sa atin ng gubyernong ito. Nagpapaka-hirap ka para maging good citizen at magbayad ng tax tapos ganito pa ginagawa nila sa atin.

If there was an apprehension reflected that never occurred, then try to renew it 1st at your nearest LTO district office, at least you will know if the computer system at the Ayala satellite office has the same result as the district office you went to.

basta kahit anong paraan eh gagawin nila para lang makapag-delihensya o magkaroon ng laman ang bulsa nila..

baka kasi isolated case lang dun mismo.. pero sa iba oks naman.. kaya abang muna tayo

I started a similar thread sa TPC... and it came out na iba iba din subcon ng softwares ng system nila and mainly stradcom which is notorious sa maraming kapalpakan. Let's just hope na isolated nga lang yung cases.. I will try dun sa kakilala ng misis ko sa LTO Tayuman. Kund hindi maayos e kelangan talagang i-settle sa MMDA dahil alam ko pati pa-rehistro ng sasakyan e apektado sa bagong sistema na to.

hala! kala ko humor lang ito.. now, totoo pala.. yesterday kasi nagtaxi ako & nakwento ito ng taxi driver.. same scenario... 'though not in that LTO office.. sorry, forgot yung office eh.. anyway, may unsettled traffic violation daw sya.. e samantalang nabayaran nya na sa metrobank. to cut the long story short, instead na P650.00 ung babayaran pa nya para makapagrenew na sya.. P500.00 na lang daw.

plan ko next year.. 1 month before my expiry.. paparenew na ako.. pede yun di ba? tapos, pagmay nangyaring ganito.. either sumbong ko sa Imbestigador, XXX (ABS-CBN) o kay Tulfo... basta sa media na ako pupunta. or kung sino man sa atin magpaparenew.. sumbong nyo na agad sa media.. para matigil na ang panglalamang na naman na ito.

This happened the same thing to some of my friends when they were renewing their license. One of which said that he has an outstanding apprehension, then he goes to MMDA Main Office sa Guadalupe. He asked what was his apprehension and he was told that color coding daw and it was dated on a FRIDAY then he said WTF eh Monday ang color coding ko! Mukhang nagbayad na lang yata sya para matapos na yung renewal nya.

Then to my other friend, meron talaga syang apprehension and nagbayad na sya sa Metrobank ang sabi lang daw sa kanya is that they should have updated the MMDA for the payment. AMF, nagbayad ka na, kaw pa pupunta para remind sila that it has been settled.

garapalan na talaga ah..! mga bosing kung sino man personal na nakaexperience nito, sumbong nyo na lang sa media. if ever na maexperience ko toh, susumbong talaga ako sa media para may evidence na agad. pagwala kasing nagsusumbong, tuloy pa rin sila sa panloloko. :mad:

System error ito hindi kotong. Note na nasa central database ang records nyo at pag nagbayad kayo, ireremit rin nila to sa main office ng LTO. Pwede nyo naman icontest ang records, and most probably wrong programming.

Ang problema lang talaga is yung abala, pero kailangan tanggapin na walang software ng bug free.
