wow, that's surprising coming from Honda. if Honda loses its reputation for reliability and excellent quality control, then i don't think there's much reason to buy one. is it a local phenomenon? i think someone said above that they are locally assembled.

also, the windshield tint bubbles are likely the fault of the dealer and its vendors - honda's don't come tinted from the factory do they?

psylocke, well, regarding sa tint naman, madali lang palitan yan..pero yung mga installers naman nila galing banawe din eh...so much better pa nga kung sa labas ka na magpatint..hehe pero when my bro got his city, no problems whatsoever. tinting was very well done..no complaints up to now both for the car and the tinting..

how do you know if its negative camber? can you elaborate more on this? para matingnan ko rin sa city ng bro ko.

yung mga emblems naman, its forgivable. not all are perfect installers..siguro nagkataon na sumablay yung sa iyo..but i dont think that all of the problems you've stated would consider it a lemon car. except siguro yung negative camber. yung medyo "off" sa steering maybe they need to adjust the steering wheel itself and not the alignment since you said that it doesnt veer anywhere naman eh...

add ko lang, when you decided to get the unit, did you had the chance to pick it out from the lot or yung first time mo siya nakuha eh nung releasing na? kasi yung sa bro ko we went up to their garage and picked the unit from there..at least we sort of checked out na rin the car before deciding to get it. in fact, tinago nga ng SA namin yung susi ng pinili naming unit eh..para di na makuha ng iba :D

When we got our 96 Civic VTi brand new, the only initial problem was the squeaking sound at the steering column. The service personnel was not able to remove it completely, but for some reason, the sound just stopped after a few hundred kilometers. :D

As for Psylocke, I don't really know if you can demand for another unit with the problems you have. I think Honda will only offer to fix/replace the parts for free. If they refuse to change the car itself, the best you can do is have the repair done and demand for more freebies. ;)

Sa Alabang ba yan? If it is ... I'm not surprised. The quality of service sa dealership na yan seem to be going down the drain. Ewan kung bakit nagkaganyan na sila dun. They used to be good. Baka lumipat na sa Toyota yung mga dati officers and staff ... or sa Mazda ... or sa GM.

Good luck sa iyo. Sana maasikaso ka nila. Isoli mo i - f ayaw palit demand a refund magsama ka ng taga-media :-)

oo pre, way back'93 naka-tanggap ng company car na lemon ang dad ko na toyota corolla gli, may gasgas sa side pero barely noticeable, may marka ng sigarilyo sa loob. d ko matandaan kung 515k ba o 616k retail noon ng corolla gli, binigay na lang sa kanya ng 490k or 590k with all freebies.

akalain mo, after 5 months na-total yun tsikot. malas talaga. kaya kung ako sa'yo kung d mo matanggap, it's only fair coz may negative energies na yan city na yan para sa iyo.

baka naman bagong lagay lang yung tint kaya may bubbles? normal lang yun diba pag bagong lagay lang?..afaik you have to wait 3-5 days kusang mawawala yung bubbles..

sa list ng problem mo i think yung camber alignment lang ang medyo off
yung emblem can easily be fixed..even yung alignment madali lang yan atleast
walang kabig hehehehe yung sa vios kabig to the right naman ang problema nila...e mas malala naman yun..

other car manufacturers may mga default din yung mga units nila.kaya swertehan lang talaga...

yung vios ng utol ko wala pang 1 month eto yung problem(mas malala problema nito kesa sa city mo hehehe)
1. kumakabig sa kanan yung kotse - binalik at pina align ulit
2. busted headlight - fuse daw
3. hirap pumasok sa reverse - normal daw??

kaya nagsisi sya kung bakit nya binenta yung 03 city nya hehehehe

Alignment...ang alam ko dati pag ina-align na yan (toe-in or out), may lock sa manibela (Clamp para di gumalaw sa center position. Then adjust to ideal specs, then lock nuts (or adjuster). Then read final print out.

Re; camber. Bakit may "before" reading? may adjustment na bang ginawa?

huh? right handed tires? meron ba nun?...let say na meron nga..so dapat sa kaliwa ang kabig hindi sa kanan kasi nasa Left side ka ng road..kung kanan ang kabig instead of going to the sidewalk e sasalubungin mo yung mga sasakyan..someone from viosclub din nagpalit na yata ng gulong ganun pa din problema so wala sa tires and problema...

baka naman Left Handed tires ang kinabit ng Toy CAsa?heheheheheh
