I'm already at max legal speed, (100kph or 120kph) and I'm not in the overtaking lane. Minsan lumalampas ng konti but I try to maintain the speed, especially when my family is in the car. I know hipokrito ako kasi sometimes I go way beyond the speed limit pero hindi ako nangbubusina. If i want to go faster, I switch lanes. Your breaking the rules of the road na nga, you'll push someone to break it as well.

Haha! I'm with you on this. Hazards seem like a switch to turn on the "forceshield" like what they do in sci-fi flicks. Frustrating...

This is one of my pet peeves. I don't understand why pedestrians (and some traffic enforcers) think that if they raise their hands, a 2-ton vehicle will stop on a dime.

haha meron ganito sa festival, naka audi kasi, bumaba pa driver, nagyosi tapos nakabalandra ung audi niya. kulang talaga sa pansin

Grabe yung ilaw niya tinalo pa yung floodlights ng Ultra. I flashed my lights and the idiot turned low beam. Okay na. A couple of seconds later -- nag high beam na naman. Flashed my lights again, and he goes low beam, then a couple of seconds later, high beam na naman.

Once I finished parking in the garage, I went out and confronted the driver. Ayun! Siya pa yung galit. Know what he said to me?

No use arguing with a walnut brain like that.
lol, recipe for disaster yan, ang dark na ng tint nya, mambubulag pa sya ng kasalubong nya, he'll/she'll get what he deserve later on

Mapapapreno ka tuloy ng bigla, tapos to add insult to injury, babagalan pa nyan yung pagliko nya para naka full stop ka na by the time he gets past.

I hit my break full stop.. sumubsub kami ng kasama ko literally.. grrr...

A lot of rants have been posted about PU drivers. Kaya nga sila hanggang PU na lang. My pet peeves involve private vehicles whose owners are supposedly better educated. Some irritating practices:

    2. Slow moving vehicle who speeds up when you try to overtake.
    3. The headlight flasher who frantically flashes his headlights kahit malayo pa siya sa intersection, hoping that you'd yield even if you were 1st at the intersection.

Btw, is true that in the US, if you flash your headlights at another car at an intersection, it actually means, "After you"? Hindi gaya sa Pinas where it means, "Me first!"

A friend told me about his experience in LA where "first to stop, first to go" is practiced at an intersection. But because he and another motorist arrived at the intersection at the same time, he did this flashing bit, Pinoy style. So the other car moved forward and so did he. Muntik silang magbanggaan. The guy in the other car shouted invectives at my friend.

Depende sa state.

Idiots who install HID on regular headlamps with halogen reflectors. Cheap morons who want HID but cannot afford projectors replace halogens with HID bulbs and spread their light all over the place.

if i can remember correctly, ganyan din dito sa pinas nung 80's. it's actually a sign of courtesy when you flash your lights. yun din turo sa akin ng magulang ko. ewan ko ba bakit biglang nagbago.

o kaya naman yung lettering na ilaw, rather that the usual 3rd brake light, ilalagay ko lettering na "HOY ILAW MO" ang maglilight on.. hahaha just a thought.. ;p

Bad motoring etiquette: What you hate the most.
