I see that a lot on cars that are on the elevated U-TURN. No choice but to turn left, naka-ON pa rin yung left turn signal. When traffic is so bad, it can be very annoying to have a blinking red light flashing in front of your eyes.

Yeah... It's a very good habit to prepare everything before you leave. Also, when you're in a parking building, you should at least have the exact amount to pay the parking fee. After 5 minutes of scrounging... I'll see a hand poking out of the window giving a 1000php or 500php bill to the parking attendant. Tapos after being handed out the change.. ang tagal pa magbilang ng sukli. At times like that I wish I had a bulldozer to push that car aside.

Anyway, last night, I once again encountered a car with one of the headlights busted. What does the driver do? Aba eh.. kailangan i-HIGHBEAM yung natitira niyang headlight!

As in, BIGLAAN kung magbigay. They wanna please pedestrians, but they're pissing off other drivers.

"..... it is the sudden stop that kills"...

Hayaan na ninyo sila, kasi, it's their vehicle, it's their battery, it's their turn signal lever, it's their signal light, and there's no harm done. So, may advanced notice yung bagito.

For me, that's good habit. But that doesn't mean I do it myself.

Meron pa! Usually mga left turners na kaka-RED lang ng stop sign pero ipipilit parin magleft turn para harangan ka (incoming opposite lane), even if barado na yung pinagleleft-turn-an niya. Gets niyo ba? hehe

I agree. For heavily congested streets/high-ways, the hazard lights are useless. Highways with minimal traffic (e.g. cars running at around 60 - 70 kph during heavy downpours), I found that having their hazard lights flashing helpful.

I'm not sure if this was posted earlier, but one thing that I hate are drivers that do not have an understanding of fast lanes and slow lanes (e.g. inner and outer lanes).

i do this too kahit wala akong nakikitang sasakyan, bakit? because i know i have a blind spot, most of the time ito yung 2 lanes to my right, di ko kagad kita pagsilip sa side mirror. kala ko walang sasakyan yun pala nasa blind spot ko at papunta rin sa lane na pupuntahan ko, at least i gave them a warning na mag-chachange ako ng lane.

Would you signal before turning into a hairpin? Or a 90-degree bend? That's stupid. And misleading if you're on a highway. Common sense knocking on the door.

Here, we have our share of a**holes as well. One thing I hate is someone will go through all the trouble of overtaking me on a two-lane road. Then as soon as he's done overtaking me, he'll slow down and make a turn. Grrrr.

I sometimes paid back the favor by either getting on the opposite lane or the shoulder as he slowed down and passed him very closely at high speed, preferably splattering his vehicle with mud or water.

    - Hi lights turned on in a two way road

    - changing lanes without signal lights
(usually pa pag binusinahan mo pa ng malakas sila pa galit.. hayy!)

    - immature newbie punk ass drivers
(oh well dami ganito sa amin kahit mga dati ng nagmamaneho, kung ano anong kapapansinan pinagagawa like parking close head on na sudden braking pa, and stupid parking styles)

    - cars running around 60kph or less on overtaking lane, babad pa.
(even though flickering your lights at them, they still didn't notice kung anong stupidity and pingagagawa nila. mostly to sa SLEX)

Drivers who constantly flash you from behind kahit na kitang barado ang harap and there's nowhere to go. Anong gusto nila? Lumipad ako? Douchebags...

Ouch! hahaha! Minsan guilty ako nito. Pag curve ang road I would unconsciously signal pero when I realize what I'm doing, I immediately turn it off.

Kanina may nagsignal from my left na kakanan daw sya so I stepped on the break to give him room to maneuver, paakyat yata ng Medical plaza sabi ko.

Dumiretso lang at sa dela Rosa pa pala sya kakanan!

I think it's another bad etiquette: turning on your signal light prematurely. It's not one of the worst, but it's still wrong.
