    uh oh...

    hahaha ayus!

reminds of an incident some years ago...

an idiot parked his car in front of our house blocking partly our garage driveway.

i rang the owner's house (door bell) for more than 10 minutes but no one answered though i know that there were people in the house.

so no choice but to sweat it out just to get the car inside the garage.

the following morning, the idiot owner couldn't do anything but shook his brainless head 'cause his front tyre was dead flat.

hehehehe huge hole at the side of the tyre. no chance for any repair.

after that, the idiot learned his lesson. couldn't even confront me cause he knew it was his own doing.

As for horns, no. Because those tiny little factory horns don't get "respect" from jeepneys, busses, etc.

Example, (in my personal experience) if a bus is drifting into your lane, a small "beep" wouldn't even get a reaction of the bus driver. But having a much loud air-horn blasting out "BLAAAAHHHHH" would get the bus driver to go back into his proper lane in two seconds.

The same goes with pedestrians who still will cross the intersection even if the lights has turned green for the cars. I find it okay with waiting for a few additional seconds for them to clear the road but I have seen many pedestrians who walk like they were doing the wedding march in the middle of the road. It's frustrating to watch them slowly strut across the road. A simple tiny honk from the car will not even get them to move any faster, but a loud "BLAAAAAHHHH!" would get them flying to the other side of the road in 1 second flat.

Masyado kasi maliit ang compressor ng Nautilus.

Dapat ata bumili pa ng extra compressor tulad ng FIAMM GT

AHH.. but what you are doing is not nothing but the opposite of a solution. instead of solving the situation without inconviniencing others, you chose to stoop to the level of the driver (the real culprit) and blast your horns at everyone.

in short.. you became one of those on the road with bad etiquette (never mind bad motoring etiquette, it's just plain bad etiquette).

you do your parents proud, btw.

since you said it was the last then I'd expect no more reply from you out of this. on my point of view, you're one of those we castigate here on this thread-- someone with bad etiquette.

so go ahead and stoop to the level of the type of people you blast your horns on. instead of doing a constructive or otherwise better solution, you simply chose the bad alternative.

    ------

just came from a round trip from manila to fetch my sick brother. at the NLEX this morning on my way to balintawak from dau right after the caltex station there was this group of (let's say) "exotics" weaving in and out of lanes, the lead car almost getting squashed between a bus and my vehicle. these exotics composed of porches and lambourghinis (2 of them I believe, color yellow). mukhang nagraracing sa nlex since I saw from afar one of the lambo overtaking at the right shoulder.

hay, weekend warriors indeed. to think I was running 90 kph while these yahoos maybe accelerating past 150

IMO its better to blast horns that curse them. With the window up and full tint, at least you can somehow make the driver feel a little guilt. Kahit papano alam nila yan. Kahit naman ako magkamali, may guilt na mararamdaman eh.

nahhh... i'm centainly not part of your "we".

i thought weekend warriors are those that do something productive during weekends - be it DIYs at home or for their cars.

or magkabit ng mini-air compressor. Kaso addt'l cost pa. Mas ok yung ginawa nung iba na nandyan pa rin yung stock horns tapos may manual switch lang to choose whihc one to use.
