Good point. We all don't want that to happen to our cars. Nakakahiya.

Kaya lang I can't help but notice that usually, the stalled "high end" cars I see don't look well maintained. Dirty paint. Dirty engine. Tapos yung owner parang walang kamalay malay...nagte-text na lang and scratching his/her head.

It depends din po kasi. Dapat may adequate space naman for the overtaking vehicle so he can insert his car properly. Pag nakita ng law enforcer na biglang nag-speed up yung inoovertake na car para di umabot yung umoovertake, tama-- that's a violation: failure to give way to an overtaking vehicle.

Pero pag wala na ngang space tapos pinipilit pa noong overtaking car na sumingit or he doesn't signal his intent early and properly, then that's also a violation: illegal overtaking yata yun... I forgot na.

It's on my driver's handbook, california sya na edition pero I find it more complete than the one I bought at National Bookstore.

Wow, I want one! So I can slap it to a traffic cop when I get flagged down for no good reason.

I posted this months ago. The driver never lost his/her bad habit.

Sorry for the crappy video and audio quality. Shot with a Samsung G600.

Okay, shooting videos while driving is a bad motoring etiquette...but it's for education...

When cars make a turn on the places that they shouldn't be.

    - Here's my share. This happened just this noon.

I was running at around 60kph at the stretch of Ortigas. When I'm reaching that certain intersection, I slowed down a little bit to the point that my speed was just 40kph. Upon reaching the intersection, there was this innova who crossed my path ( he was from the opposite side of the road, Southbound I think ).

Remember, you can't make a left turn nor a U-turn at that area. I stepped on my brakes real hard to the point that my wheels screeched and ended up to a full stop, luckily, I didn't hit the innova. But what's frustrating was, the driver was still laughing and making a big grin at me.

What a stupid driver. Doesn't know how to read traffic signs such as " no left turn " & " no U-turn "

P.S. The traffic light on my side was still green.

And, to my car, baka nagvanish yung hood ko.

The road is clear. As in super clear, well at the road I am cruising in atleast.

I just never expected that there would be a suckish driver to be turning at that point.

I did slow down, it's an intersection, that's the normal thing I do but since the traffic light wasnt red, I continued cruising at around 40kph, honked my horn 3 times upon reaching the intersection but still no use, the innova went through it's wrong path.

^^ Nope. It's near greenhills, the intersection before the intersection to Wilson St. ( sorry for the redundancy )

Those who drive fast in subdivisions.

Yesterday while feeding my fishes one night at around 7:30pm, narinig ko sa labas ang malakas na "Vrrrrroooooommmm!!!" Papalayo yung sound sa street namin.

I immediately called our subdivision's guard and instructed him to tell anyone who passes the gate with loud mufflers that the speed limit in our subdivision is 20kph.

I must be getting old and grumpy, but what if a kid was trying to cross the road? Lalo na, naka-side car ang mga maids ko every afternoon para ipasyal yung anak kong 2 years old. Baka matsambahan ng mga mokong na to.

I visited one of my homes coz I needed to wash some of my cars. I asked the help kung kilala nila yung owner of kung nagpa-alam lang man siya? Di daw. Ok, so I waited for around an hr or 2. Wala pa rin. Nainis ako kasi that driver is blocking the front of my house eh dun ako naghuhugas ng mga auto ko so I decided to check the Ranger out. Tsk... tsk... Kaka dismaya!

Pero for 2006 pa!!!

I should've called MMDA to impound this vehicle. Or at least abangan yan pag labas ng village namin.

^ Was he blocking your driveway, or just parked in front of your house. If it's the latter, IMO, I don't think he's violating anything... unless it's a no parking zone.

Yeah, he was not only blocking half the gate of my driveway. The driver also was blocking my front porch!
    1) we also have a regulation here that IF you're going to visit a homeowner you should park nearest to the homeowner you are visiting. The homeowner he was visiting was the opposite side of the road, no one's parking there.. so why didn't this ranger park there?
2)it's just good breeding and proper courtesy that if you're going to occupy someone's place then at least magpa-alam ka naman ng maayos! I've had strangers ring my house para lang magpa-alam. That I appreciate.
3)We also own the lot on the opposite side of our house.

Besides, were talking about BAD motoring etiquette.
    1) sige, kung tingin mo lusot siya sa pag park niya then that's your opinion.
I checked the windshield wala man lang sticker rin dun.

Er... I don't get it. The pickup was blocking your driveway and the driver of the pickup was on your porch. So why didn't you just tell the driver to move the pickup?

My help did that. Ako nga when I park at other villages or subd, nagpapa-alam talaga ako at kung walang makita I make sure that my vehicle is within visual range. Marami nang basagan ng bintana, hampasan sa auto ang nangyayari because of that. Respect the homeowners and they'll respect you PERO kung may mga homeowners na masusungit talaga(can't be helped) then you know which ones to avoid diba.

This sticker is installed to new vehicles if compliant with DENR specs. Innovas come with that too.
