I was using the 1.3 econobox of my in-laws and this 2.0L car i caught up with signalled me to go ahead. I tapped my horn to thank him when i passed and went on. I slowed down my pace as the traffic bunched up then i noticed there was car tailgating and flashing. I switched to the slow lane when there was an opening and the guy continued to stick to me and flash his lights again; I realized it was the same car who let me pass earlier and seems he was egging me. WTF. I did not speed up anymore as it's unsafe with the vehicle volume, and he eventually went ahead (driving quite haphazardly if i may add, even passing on the shoulder). I let him go way ahead as my exit was nearing, and I definitely have no time for such games.

I don't know if he wanted a race or whatever (and i was in an obviously slower vehicle), but geez indeed.
if he was not warning you of your flat tire, then he was probably acheing to challenge your carburator.
he in his 2.0 was challenging your 1.3? he must have had a sad childhood..

I pity the service vehicles donated by Toyota before to the Manila Police District.

The policemen used the cars as if they were disposable cars. No maintenance indeed. And just after a few years, I saw a large number not running and just shelved at the police stations. Those still running are in very poor condition.

    Sayang ang kotse.

anyone who has gone to hongkong, remembers the traffic lights and the bellring for pedestrians.
well, after 25 years, they're still there, fully functioning.

Definitely not the flat tire as I was aired up (slow leak).

It's an EFI 1.3 and I am familiar with the performance of his 2.0 V6 as we had one back in the day; If his was a matic version, I know deep in my heart that the lightly loaded 1.3 m/t i was using will maintain pace with that 2.0 on the open road if I wanted to. But, all I wanted was to catch S&R and get my tire vulcanized (which we did but nakiusap ako sa Tire Center to accommodate me pa) and definitely it's a no-no for me to play with anyone looking for a race on the road.

People who don't follow lane markings.

Yesterday along San Miguel avenue bound to shaw ako to make a uturn, traffic is bad. Pero tanaw mo sa malayo road is clear!

All lanes pala eh kakaliwa ng papuntang PSE/ meralco ave.

Inch by inch I made in in front, kaswerte may pasig blue boys sa intersaction.

I opened my window and told him bakit pinapayagan na yung mga nasa outermost lane kumakaliwa pa din? Barado na dito dahil sa kanila.

    The TE responded
    "Ano gusto mong gawin ko?"

I just told him gawin mo trabaho mo!!!

Kaya our roads are screwed, either selective ang mga TEs sa pinapatupad nila or hindi nila alam kung ano ba dapat ang ipatupad.

O BTW i caught this on my cam, I'm still exploring how can I upload it here.

I had the same experience bro last week in visayas ave. This import MR2 2nd gen with z plates wanted to race me too.
He wanted to overtake this bike on his lane and i was in the middle lane para hindi niya ako Icut I steeped on the accelerator ang ginawa niya binilisan niya and halos one inch na dikit niya saakin then nag brake ako pagkaovertake niya saakin since my tumatawid and then he also brake as if he wanted to wait for me so I turn na to Wilcon since I needed to withdraw cash from the ATM. And I saw him speeding away nung lumiko na ako.

Dami siguro na-atat dahil sa traffic.

Also had a confrontation with a cyclist last week and sadly, it was something that was perhaps because I moved my car slightly to the right of my own lane to allow a motorcycle to safely pass me as we were in traffic (and blocked he cyclist). The way the cyclist confronted me was out of this world (and I apologized even if it may not have been all my fault as I was on my own lane and just allowed space for another vehicle to pass, and he too should be cautiously splitting lanes in traffic). Makes me wonder if that was why Mr. Tanto could have blacked out.

Those who don't turn their signal lights when they want to enter your lane.

Agree here. I actually give way when I see a vehicle properly signalling to change lanes (proper meaning he switches his turn signal on a few seconds before shifting lanes, and there's a proper opening).

Sa PBCom Tower parking ito. Laging kulang ang parking slots para sa mga building tenants.

Kanina lang sa may taguig 1 dad,2 kids (both under 7 yr old) wala helmets.
biglang tumigil cab sa harap ko muntik ko na tamaan. dahil sa momentum (usually may mga taong naglalakad sa right side) so instinct ko, ang kabig ko manibela sa kaliwa. though malayo naman (10 meters) yun motor na mentioned tumigil parin sa gitna, di nako makakabig pabalik (out of way ako my fault kasi kabig ko pa lefy), tagal umalis after tumabi sa akin, opened my windows sabi ko pasensya na po (sobrang sincere kasi i knew it was partly my fault). bago ko pa mapaliwanag (kasi he was saying something na parang pinagsasabihan ako? i couldnt understand na parang nakainom), bigla akong minura o_O
Nag snap ako, sabi ko t*ng!n* mo bumili ka ng helmet. Not proud of what i did, pero ano ba purpose nung pag harang nya ng matagal, at kailangan pa akong murahin? Di ba nya nabasa yung situation kung bakit ako kumabig? Btw sa palar ito, for those familiar with the area medyo awkward kalye na yun kasi may maigsing part ng kalye na 2 way.
