Yeah, but he was asking specifically about diesels... I haven't seen any selling for under 700 yet... most asking prices are 800-850k, but I don't know what the average transaction price is... probably no set baseline, since the TDCi is so uncommon.

Good day everyone, I am planning to buy a new car and the Ford focus is on top of my lists. Since the new 2010 model is out i was wondering if there is any new changes to the Focus. Also i know the new 2012 Focus will be coming out soon and i was thinking if its smart to wait for that one. Is there a predicted date when the new 2012 focus will arrive here? Anything else i should know about the current focus also? Im planning to get the trend 1.8 MT sedan since thats the one that fits my budget. Thanks and God bless

I don't recall any upgrades, but they did add 2 new models to the 2010 lineup.

The next gen Mk3 Focus will be released in Europe and North America next year, its expected to be launched in the ASEAN market in 2012.

By 2012, I'm sure other carmakers would also increase their prices, not just Ford, but they'll most likely try to keep pricing competitive just like their current lineup.

Eddie_mVp, why not buy a Trend 1.8 now, sell it in 3 years and then get the next gen Focus.
