June 19th, 2010 01:33 PM #91Ill take that into consideration, haha. Thanks for the help. O also i talked to Ford and they said with the MT 1.8 trend, there is no stock in white, how long does it take here in the philippines for a car to come when ordered, or like is there other places that ford can check around for a white one? Also, im from the states and when we buy a car we can bargain the prices down, but people here tell me that cars are fixed prices, is that true? Thanks again and God bless

rotciv, where did you see the TDCi sedan? I went to a ford dealer asking for a ranger 4x4 and they told me that this is on order basis only with 3 months lead time. Asked about the Focus 2.0 Ghia and this again on order basis; asked about the TDCi sedan and di pa daw naglalabas ang casa
Ganun ba talaga ang Ford? Strike 3 ako sa mga inquiries ko. Parang lahat walang stock? Kulang na lang itanong ko na: "ano lang bang models meron kayo?"

June 28th, 2010 12:54 PM #99I bought my focus TDCI in 2008 December. It has been running well and is quick yet gets good consumption. Initially we would get a high of 5li/100km on the highway to 9li/100km in day to day city driving.
Lately though (past 3 months starting from around 13 to 14000km) I noticed that the consumption is higher. Highway now is just 8li/100km while city driving has gone all the way up to 10.5 li/100km. The unit is maintained by ford global and have had them tune it up a few weeks back but still not much difference in consumption. We use Shell and Caltex diesel. Am not sure what oil Ford Global puts but assume it's manufacturer approved. I've recently put higher psi on the tires to see if this is the problem but initial readings from the computer are not encouraging.
Any ideas as to why consumption has gone up.

^ try to compute it starting with a full tank and reset your trip B. then a full tank again. the fuel top up at the 2nd full tank will be the fuel consumed. then get your distance traveled at your trip B after your 2nd full tank.
then have this equation.
"trip B reading" divided by "no. of liters at the 2nd full tank" = km/l
mas accurate kase ang km/l against L/no. of km. di ko din masyado naintindihan.
