Pwedeng pwede bro. Madami naman din competent na car repair shops around. it's just a matter of asking around

For Ford Fiesta dual clutch transmission, there's a specialized fluid for this. Also, the Fiesta uses the electric power steering, hence no fluid is used.

Our 1st hand 2013 ford fiesta with dual clutch transmission has never been serviced at the casa for the usual pms (eg oil change, air filter change, etc) except for the faulty transmission control module which was replaced last 2015 (still under warranty). We just go to a nearby gas station for the periodical oil change.

If your unit is 2nd hand, it's highly recommended to have it thoroughly checked by a good car shop. Always buy genuine ford parts from reputable stores such as:

Golden Isuzu Mazda Parts, Inc. - Home | Facebook

Or buy from a Ford dealer directly and bring the original parts to the car shop of your choice. Some MoTech car shops are good.

The Fiesta's DCT is a dry-type dual-clutch tranny that needs no fluid change. This is a different DCT compared to the wet-clutch model used on the old Focus TDCi.

Check the web for shops that are recommended by fellow Fiesta owners.

^^^ There is a small fine print in the details of the DCT250 tranny. It is not totally maintenance free. It is rated for 150K miles (240k KM) before the following things are done.

    - Change automatic transmission fluid and filter (filter not required on 6F35, 6F50, DPS6 and AWF-21 transmissions); consult dealer for requirements

And yung coolant nya pwede po ba kahit anong klase lang or dapat specific siya for ford fiesta?

Engine oil change pwede kahit saang gas station na may hydraulic lift. Any synthetic oil brand should be fine. Recommended oil type is SAE 5W-30. Nasa user manual yung details.

Pwede mo mabili sa ace hardware yung compatible oil filter (Vic C-111). Pwede din sa casa (Motorcraft 7S7G 6714 AAT).

Sa radiator coolant, best to buy that from ford dealer.

If you live in Parañaque or Las Pinas, just go to FRDMAZ. Andun lahat ng usual fluids at minor parts for your maintenance needs.

Ilang years na sya?

After 2 years with casa service, I do my maintenance on my own every 10k kilometres for my Fiesta Ecoboost. This covers change of oil, oil filter, air filter, and cabin filter. I also have the brakes cleaned (change the brake pads if needed) and do some spot checks on suspension. Check battery life every 6 months or every 3 months if near the end of battery life warranty period.

My last maintenance service was at 50k km, January this year. I will have the plugs checked at 60k kilometres even though they are rated up to 100k kilometres.

Hi boss, we have the same variant. Ecoboost also. I am now at 40k mileage and done with change oil already kasi hindi ko pala nacheck ang air filter ko. Ang cabin filter ko ako na naglagay. My brake pads are due for change na daw as per Yokohama Service Center (near my house kasi). Regarding spark plugs, some people say na isabay ko daw lagi sa change oil although pag nag hit na ako ng 50k mileage saka ko palitan. Pero totoo ba yun? I can go for ordinary NGK lang daw and have it changed every PMS.

as for spark plugs pwede naman check lng muna.. theyre probably iridiums.. theyre good for 3yrs.

when you change brake pads, pa lube yun caliper pins. wurth have these small sachets for these. if possible dont open the brake reservoir to lengthen the brake fluid life.

Don’t just use ordinary plugs or even the platinum/iridium plugs. Get those that match the Ecoboost engine specs. They are a bit expensive locally (around 1500 each) but you can buy them online in the US for around half the price. Most modern turbo petrol engines use long-life plugs rated at 100k km or more. Motor Image tells me the plugs on my FXT is good up to 120k km.

I get my pads at FRDMAZ for around 3k inclusive of labor. With my use, the front pads are only good for up to 18k km. I have yet to replace my rear brake shoes.

Hi boss. Thanks for your inputs. Nasa manual po ba lahat ng specs needed for our Exoboost?

Bakit kaya nya nasabing aapaw, dahil mag bleed ng konte? magbabawas pa nga yan dahil iuusog yun parang piston ng caliper paatras to fit the new thicker brake pads.
Anyway since 4 years na pala yun auto, sabay mo narin yung brake fluid bleeding para isang gawaan nalang.

Mine is also nearing 4 years but almost 52k km na. Just check the brake fluid levels after the pads are replaced. If you need to top up, make sure to use DOT4 brake fluid.
