I would not rule it out since the transmission never changed anyway from the facelift. Its still the same old 6 speed Getrag dry clutch...

Good thing we opted for the 1.4AT Fiesta which is not dry clutch. I think this is no longer available for the current fiesta model. Sad part though is we don't get the same performance as the 1.6 or even 1.5 since it's just 4 speed.

Just wanted to share: We have a 2011 Fiesta 1.6PS, the warranty of which expired last July 2014. Like clockwork, earlier this month we started getting a "Transmission Malfunction, Service Now" message on the center console display. Ford Dagupan is still in process of trying to figure out what is wrong with the car, though it has been back to the shop twice already because the error message appears every few days. The car still drives as it normally does, but the error message really freaks me out

my ford fiesta ps1.6 2011 lagi namamatay during slow moving traffic...nalinis na throttlebody napalitan na rin tcm....been to ford cabantuan and ford balintawak. Di nila mareplicate pag sila nag roadtest wala din makita sa diagnostic kung ano problem. nakasanayan ko na restart na lang lagi pag namamatay...kakasawa na rin. up to now ba wala pa rin solusyon dito?

Nakow that is a side effect of a failing TCM yung biglang namamatay ang makina... Looks like your new TCM is about to fail again soon, I hope may warranty ka pa...

Hi guys, from reading this thread, I believe my TCM is failing. my fiesta 1.6PS is only on it's 34k mileage but past it's warranty period. Will I be charged for the replacement if it's indeed a problem with the TCM? if so, how much would that be? thanks.

AFAIK around 40-50k after casa discount... email fordphils they should replace your tcm free of charge alam naman nila may issue ang fiesta sa TCM.

Is anyone also having a start up problem on their Ford Fiesta? Battery is ok, leds light up, radio is fine, the keys can turn but the car won't start... any fix? thanks in advance...

When was the last time battery was changed?

Battery may not be ok. Even though lights and radio works, it may not hold enough charge to start the car which requires a lot of power...

i have ford Fiesta 1.0L ecoboost sedan 2 months pa lng sya then dami na sira regarding fuel etc. Okay naman sya first 1thou KM then after service sa 1k KM dami na naging problem. first nag stall ung parang namamatayan dinala ko sa casa sabi contaminated daw ung gas blah blah. then sinisingil ako ng 8k for the labor kasi hnd daw sakop ng warranty ang gasthen nanghingi ako ng sample ng gas na galing sa tank ko tpos dinala ko sa petron kung saan ako lagi nag papa gas. on the spot nag demo ung manager sa petron kung contaminated or hnd meron sialang parang chemical na nag iiba color of nahaluan ang gas ng water so negative. balak ko kasi kung contaminated sisingilin ko ang petron ng 8k para sila mag bayad so bumalik ako sa casa sabi ko negative sa petron then bigla nila sinabi na hnd naman contaminated na dapat daw shell ang gas ko hnd petron blah blah. so sabi ko kahit na hnd naman tubig pinapagas ko so hnd ko kasalanan yan at hnd ako magbabayad ng 8k dahil hnd ko kasalanan medyo nag beastmode ako so sabi nila sige sir internal na lng nten wala kayo babayaran blah blah.. binaba nila fuel tank at nilinis. after kinuha ko na unit mga 2 days nag loko naman ung gauge ng gas ko nag pa full tank ako ayw naman umangat ng gauge so binalik ko nanaman after a day kinuha ko na ulet kasi umangat na ung gauge nasa full tank na pag kuha ko mga 2 days ginagamit ko car namatayan ako sa cavitex un pla wala na gas pero sa gauge ko full tank (Buti mababait tao sa cavitex). hnd ko muna binalik sa casa kasi xmas eve. 25 nag tagaytay kmi with family umilaw ung check engine tsaka oil and battery habang paakyat kmi sa tagaytay. 26 binalik ko dun sorry daw papalitan daw fuel injection pump ata un .


sa mga nangyari pwede na ba ako mag change ng unit ? kasi inisip ko bago pa lng dami na sira baka in the future ako mag ka problem pag naglabasan na ibang problem?

any advice will be much appreciated.
