Updating my post....
Kakalampag lang yung kotse kung di inaalagaan ng owner yung suspension ng kotse. Kelangan din patingnan yung mga bushings at shocks at springs ng kotse once in a while lalo na kung malubak dinadaanan mo.
Regarding the clanky noises with Fiesta's tranny, it is stated in the owner's manual that such noises are normal due to the nature of the DCT which has 2 clutch gearboxes that alternately move against each other. One clutch for the odd gears (1,3,5) and another one for the even gears (2,4,6).
Hi,
New member here, kakapurchase ko lang ng fofi last friday, tanong ko lang kung ano mga dapat ko tandaan to keep my fofi in good condition? and yun mga recommended fluid and coolant
Salamat and more power to you guys![]()
Do you have the manual with you sir and a copy of the preventive maintenance records?
Kung wala, i would recommend you start changing the fluids (brake, coolant, engine oil, transmission oil, etc) and the filters (oil, air, ac cabin) in order for you to have a baseline kung ano gagawin mo every time you take it to a shop for pms.

Find time to read the manual properly bro... andyan din ang YouTube para ma guide ka kung gusto mo matutunan ang basics.
Tignan mo mabuti yung preventive maintenance schedule na naka chart... naka itemize na dun gagawin or ipapagawa mo.
Enjoy the car while your at it wag mo muna gawing tambay yan ng garahe [emoji41]

Hi,
normal ba na nakaon yun fuel light warning ko kahit nagrefill na ko? current tank is 40-50% kaso naka light pa din yun low fuel warning
TIA
Has anyone here experienced a sudden activation of brakes on either side (Ford Fiesta 2015 MT)?
good day everyone. just got a pre loved 2014 ecoboost fiesta. i hope you will indulge me with a few queries. (1) antennae. i plan to relocate the antennae to the back of the roof and replace it with a shark fin type antennae. will it affect the antennae's performance? (2) i plan to install a cold air intake. i was told that this can cause the "check engine" to light up. can something be done about this? will this affect the sensors of the car? Thanks you in advance for your comments.
I have no idea how much it will cost to move the antenna to the back portion of the roof but if you don't like the stock antenna, just replace it with a smaller stub antenna.
Why the need for a CAI setup? In stock form, the car is quite quick on its feet (much quicker than other cars with 1.5L/1.6L NA engines). I never bothered with a CAI mod on my Fiesta Ecoboost to spare myself of those unwanted "Check Engine" errors. If you want a big improvement on performance with the potent 1.0L turbo engine, save up for a Bluefin ECU remap kit. It will increase power output from 123hp/170Nm to 154hp/217Nm with the simple ECU remap kit.
Another thing, drive it hard. Keeping it within 2k rpm and below will bore you and its DCT tranny is quite clanky if you keep yourself within 1st to 3rd gears. On open stretches of road, let the turbo spool and let the tachometer rise. The 1.0L engine idles at 950-1000 rpm and the turbo starts to spool after 1500 rpm but there is a bit of lag as you can only feel it as you cross 2000 rpm. There is an overboost function after 4500 rpm where the engine adds additional torque (from 170Nm to 200Nm) for a few seconds to get you to 6000 rpm.
Hi tanong ko lang po san po ba lagayan ng power steering fluid ng 2011 Ford Fiesta Trend 1.6 AT. Di ko kasi makita. Bago lang kasi ako may sasakyan at nabili ko lang sya ng 2nd hand. Thanks.

well, i don't have a ford. so i don't know if it is hydraulic PS or already electric. if the latter, wala nang PS fluid yan.
if still hydraulic, crawl under the car, locate the PS assembly, and look for the PS fluid hose. trace it upward and you should see the PS fluid reservoir.
If you hear a purr when you steer the wheel fast then its EPS (electric power steering).
If its such the case, then there will indeed be no steering fluid because its for hydraulic power steering only

EPS (electronic power steering) na yung Mk7 Fiesta (2011-2013) at Mk7.5 Fiesta (2014 onwards). No need for power steering fluid. The Fiesta has quite a good steering feel (quick and responsive) despite being EPS, much better than the City/Jazz. I find it even better than the EPS on my Forester XT.
You can join FCP (Ford Club Philippines) if you want to know more details about your Fiesta.
