May I add the poor dealer customer care as a negative point

But I agree 100% Ford Everest is an excellent choice

Mine is the 3.0 4x4 A/T and it has been with me for 3 years and 55k kms. I never had any problems whatsoever and it still rides as solidly like a brand new car. No door, dashboard, and suspension rattles. No engine and drivetrain issues. The slight shift shock felt from 2nd to 3rd gear, which is a common complaint, never got worse.

A few of my friends want to buy it but I had to turn them down. Sabi ko nga eh, "pre, parang bago pa eh, nakakahinayang". I will definitely hold on to it for several more years.

I understand that the new T6 ranger might still use the 3.0L TDCi engine. It shows how good the engine really is.

Can I ask your FC base on your actual driving habit.

    Thanks in advance

I've seen lots of facelifted Ford everest here in our province already. Even though I drive One, I love to watch other Everest passing by. It seems that its design and looks (Especially those with roof racks) makes you want to look it and admire its beauty. Then realizing that I own 1 myself. hehe.
I have no regrets of buying this whatsoever. Lots of cargo space and powerful engine. Time comes when the new T6 Eve arrives, no regrets of buying this 2010 Ford Everest.

You mean quads? Sorry, we don't have that.. We at fordclub found a quad headlights for rangers which looks almost the same as the eve's headlights, but those are for USDM rangers, it won't fit with our local rangers and eves.. Price? Already PM'd you..

Pag stock/OEM, wala.

IMHO, just go for a Pioneer or Kenwood 2-din HU, better quality than AVT.

    Pioneer AVH-P4250DVD: around Php25,000.
    Kenwood DDX-7034: around Php31,000.

JVC HUs are also quite good, ranging from Php20,000 to Php28,000.

The AVT HU used in the Ford ICE package is roughly equivalent to the ~Php15,000 generic HUs in the market today.

A pair of good-quality 7" LCD panels for the headrests won't cost you more than Php10,000.

No built-in GPS for the above HUs though, but that's not actually a bad thing, IMHO. A standalone Garmin GPS unit is a much more attractive option for me.

    Cost breakdown:
    Pioneer 4250: 25thou
    2 x 7" LCD: 10thou
    2-din panel for Everest: 5.3thou
    Garmin Nuvi 255W w/ Philippine map: 8thou
    TOTAL: 48.3thou

Even factoring in the labor costs for the installation, mas sulit pa rin 'coz you're getting much better hardware for your money.
