Mapapaandar mo pa rin siya sir. AFAIK, may chip na lang doon sa duplicate key (immobilizer). Yung keyless entry kasi lock/unlock lang yun. Try locking your eve by your keyless entry and buksan mo siya by your key, hindi siya magaalarm. Or try locking yourself inside by your keyless entry and start your engine, magstart siya at hindi magaalarm. Correct me if I'm wrong mga sir.

Sorry for the confusion. When I said "duplicate keys", I meant yung mga extra keys na pina-duplicate sa labas, which is a common practice here (lightweight keys, etc. etc.). All 3 factory keys have the immobilizer chips and can start the vehicle.

nalito naman agad ako. iniisip ko kasi dun nakalagay sa keyless entry ang chip. sa susi nman pala nakalagay haha thank you!

If you own or just own your first Ford vehicle, try to be a member of FCP (Ford Club Philippines), para kung ano ang mga pagkukulang ng mga Casa (ex. poor service etc) ay maiparating natin sa Ford Philippines.
For sure they will be willing to hear customers feedback...
Tama ang sabi ng iba ang mga Dealer kasi kanya-kanyang weakness yan, dapat mai-feedback natin sa Ford Phils ang mga improvements needed ng mga Dealer.

Sir, try mo ipaduplicate yung keys sa let's say mr. quickie then ilock mo yung sasakyan by your keyless entry lock/unlock. Then try mo iopen yung sasakyan with your duplicated keys, magaalarm siya.

Oh oh, and BTW! Kaya na rin pala gumawa ng mr.quickie nung transponder! Yung pati chip ng transmitter mo gagayahin!

Sir, backread a bit. We were talking about a stock Everest. Baka nalito ka sir, walang alarm ang stock na Everest, unlike Montero Sport/Strada na may OEM alarm. KEYLESS ENTRY lang ang meron sa stock na Everest. Magkaka-alarm lang yun pag kinabitan ng casa ng aftermarket alarm or yung owner mismo magpapakabit sa labas. That's the fact unless may nagbago within the last few months although I doubt it kasi mismong mga bagong display and test-drive units wala pa ring alarm.

What you get with a stock Everest is a single transmitter for the keyless entry plus 3 keys with the immobilizer chips, that's all.

So with the keyless entry but without any aftermarket alarm, ano ang mag-aalarm? Walang sensor, walang alarm horn, wala lahat.

Yup, keyless entry lang, no door sensors wired to the OEM horn.

That was actually one of the first things I checked after leaving the dealership. Locked the vehicle with me inside (2nd row) using the OEM keyless entry transmitter, then manually unlocked and opened the door from the inside. Not a sound from the OEM horn. Gen3 unit, released Aug. 28, 2009.

For the purpose of testing it lang kung may alarm siya like our Ranger Wildtrak. Ang sound lang eh mahinang stock horn.

Then binuksan ko yung hood may nakita akong horn sa may gilid, isnt that the alarm horn?

BTW, nasolve mo ba yung tagtag issue ng ranger mo? May plan ako ipaayos yung amin kapag nagoffer ulit ng temporary swap si Erpat, if budget permits. Haha.

I didn't replaced anything on my ranger's suspension yet. I agree, matagtag siya, as in. Pero konti lang ang pag ka bouncy niya so parang balanced. Ang ginagawa ko lang po is to adjust my tire pressure. Somewhat effective. But I'm planning to replace if di ko na gusto yung Ride. :bwahaha:
