July 22nd, 2020 04:01 PM #7701Late reply: Because I needed the car and did not have time to tinker, I was forced to buy an Amaron DIN74 priced at 8,800 here in Laguna.
The battery fits the battery box, but the plastic piece on the strap had to be removed as the DIN74 was a bit taller than the factory DIN66. In retrospect, I should've gotten the DIN80 which I think is only about 500 pesos more. Have seen others who have used it and it fit the battery box.
The 2/3SMF test will be done on another day. BTW, I am using the old DIN66 from the Everest on my 2004 Mazda3 2.0 (which used to house a 2SMF battery). The cables long enough to fit. It is still able to start the car for the past few days.

Anyone here tried to remove the steering wheel? Do we need to punch a hole to release the airbag?

June 14th, 2021 10:29 AM #7706Yep...kaso sya yun pics ng before the installation ng kit...The AFTER pics..is a totally new look and parang a new model SUV and far from being an Everest..
Am as well not a fan of adding body kits since nag Mid 40's na age ko...haha pero eto kase parang a total new look and hindi a strap on kits lang... Originally this mods are for Ranger to turn it into a F-150 look...but naaply din nila for Everest..

Very tacky for me. Parang kulang sa pansin.
My personal preference has always been tasteful and subtle mods.

Changing your car to look like another car (i.e. Everest to F150) is already tacky enough as it is, whether with flashy lights or not.
But to each his own of course. Your money, your mods.
My only concern are unsafe mods that harm other motorists. For example - tail light garnishes that are illuminated - it’s actually against the law to have white lights other than reverse lights on your car’s rear.

Kung walang spare tire, invest on a Inflator kaysa sa sealant. Inflate the flat tire +10 psi than...
Liquid tire sealant
