Late reply: Because I needed the car and did not have time to tinker, I was forced to buy an Amaron DIN74 priced at 8,800 here in Laguna.
The battery fits the battery box, but the plastic piece on the strap had to be removed as the DIN74 was a bit taller than the factory DIN66. In retrospect, I should've gotten the DIN80 which I think is only about 500 pesos more. Have seen others who have used it and it fit the battery box.
The 2/3SMF test will be done on another day. BTW, I am using the old DIN66 from the Everest on my 2004 Mazda3 2.0 (which used to house a 2SMF battery). The cables long enough to fit. It is still able to start the car for the past few days.
