Just want to ask if someone already experience this:
While driving at NLEX on the fast lane, adaptive cruise control set at 116km/hr with minimum distance setting, when the car infront of me suddenly brake, I did not wait for the car to brake on itself because I was too close so I stepped on my brake. Pre-collision Assist pop up on my dash, ABS, Stability Control and Handbrake icon also appeared. While still on the fast lane, the car wont speed up but limited to just 60km/hr and I heard the engine roaring. Checked my handbrake lever but its down while the icon is still lit up. Checked the driver assist setting but were all disabled. I managed to bring the car at Petron Marilao. Turn off the engine then start again, back to normal. Is this one of its safety features? I dont think so.

My ride is Titanium Premium 4x4 with 2,000km at the Odo.

At last, they already found the culprit, Brake Vacuum Pump.

I managed to bring the car at Petron Marilao. Turn off the engine then start again, back to normal.

Pero nasira pa din ung brake vacuum.pump after mo mag restart ng engine and back to normal operation lahat (no lights sa dash)

Unfortunately, its not true. Unless the borrower was able to get insurance coverage such as credit life for credit cards and MRI for mortgage.

Banks or creditors will go after the co-maker (if any) or the estate. If car loans are unsettled, it'll be foreclosed.

A colleague of mine recently got his 2.2 Titanium wlth less 50K sa Ford Batangas. 2017 new model na with Navigation and dark interior. I think SRP nya now is 1.799M. & 50K lower yung old stock "Sync2" & beige interiors


Though she tried as well in Alabang both Dearborn motors, she can't get a discount hence she opted to travel all d way down south for her unit! And was also released quickly no withholding even without an OR/CR....happy camper sya

Sa Ford Calamba po, I placed my order for a Trend 2nd week of May. They produced the unit by the end of the month and it got released to me June 1. After 3 weeks, I got the CR/OR. P1,569,000 less 45,000. So it ended with 1,524,000. Tinupad naman nila lahat yung promised schedule nila.

according to the SA, after I restart the engine, the vacuum pump went back to normal also at bumato ng tamang signal sa computer, that's why no fault code was found. The brake vacuum pump causes the limp mode upon sudden brake while on adaptive cruise control only. Perhaps lets call on Sir Janemar if he can further explain this cause I'm not an engineer and I don't know how the brake vacuum pump is related to the cruise control.

Palit vacuum pump, but the part is not available on stock, order pa sa planta. My unit had undergone engine replacement also due to faulty engine (coolant leak on engine block). Hindi ko pa na-enjoy ang unit ko.

20k kms. Yap, change engine agad dahil coolant is leaking directly on the engine block (in layman's term, KATOK na). This is the 3.2L engine sir. I think this is an isolated one because I never heard of something like this on this forum. Fortunately, it is still under warranty. The unit is still at Ford Sta Rosa, already changed the engine but the brake vacuum pump causes the engine to go on limp mode nang i-road test nila. Ito ung hindi ma-diagnose dati sa Ford Malolos noong 2k km pa lang ang odometer ko, nangyari na sa akin ang limp mode. Twice nangyari sa akin yan sa NLEX.

Meron din kasi nangyari recently, naubusan ng coolant, nag overheat sya, bago lang din unit nya..

Anong cause bakit naubusan ng coolant sir? May singaw or butas ung hose?
