sometimes they assembled only the engine then their outsource plants will complete the final assembly.

Meron pero negligible (around 1.6 RPM est). Per my experience, mas ramdam turbo lag nung 2nd gen montero (hanggang 2k RPM). Probably, depends on what vehicle you are used to. If galing ka non-turbo gas vehicle, maninibago ka.

Not really. It doesn't help depressing it harder if you're below the turbo spool RPM. You'll just feel how heavy the eve is.
I just make sure I'm on the right RPM before overtaking. Once you're there, no issue in accelerating quickly. I use the S mode for long driving to keep the RPM higher than usual. Hope this helps.

Anyway, if you're variant is Trend, di pwede. Kung Titanium naman there is a possibility. No guarantees na gagana pero worth trying.
