Need a help, torn between mux and eve. Consideration ko talaga mga sirs ang fuel consumption at pms. Pahingi ng advise.

consumption ko using petron diesel max, city driving lang, dahil 60% heavy traffic naman sa dinadaanan ko, I got 6.5-8km/L. pero pag provincial pagas sa hiway tapos takbo 80-90km/hr lang nakaka17.6-21km/L

range city + provincial 8-10km/L

if your preference is more on FC and PMS go for MUX but if you want comfort and gadgets dont mind higher PMS and FC go for the eve

Dami consideration, pero sabi mo nga PMS and FC and pinakaimportante. PMS schedule ng Eve rest is every 10K km na natakbo or every 6mos which ever comes first. Meaning twice lang PMS sa isang taon. Compare it sa MuX na every 5K, meaning 4x ka every year. And sa cost base on my experience yung 10K PMS ko, umabot lang ng 8K binayaran ko and I'm satisfied sa ginawa nila sa Eve ko. Sa FC naman kung 3.2L na Eve kukunin mo, talo talaga compare sa 3.0L sa MuX. Pero kung 2.2L na Eve, halos di na sila nagkakalayo sa FC. Kita mo naman yung post nila dito. Add ko lang, yung MuX engine natin as of now is Euro2 which is by next year ipinagbabawal maglabas ng bagong sasakyan with Euro2 engine. Sa Eve naman mas advance na kasi Euro4 na engine. Sabi ko nga Sir, elaborate po bakit sabi nyo po mas mahal ang PMS sa Eve. As per Sir Janemar post, kung nabasa mo yung post nya dati sa Ford Everest thread na indicating yung mga price ng consumables sa Eve, IMO eh mura na yun compare sa other brand, di na nagkakalayo ang presyo.

Im not against sa MuX or any other brand, in fact I consider also Fort and Monty dati sa pinagpipilian ko. And yung last na car ko is Toyota, kaya nasa top 3 ang Fort, and the rest is history kaya Eve Trend kinuha ko.

Approve na kami sa isang bank for Everest, ang kaya ko is 2.2L Trend lang(Mismo our friend from Ford call our previous bank). Kaso hesitant talaga ako, kunting kalikot na lang talaga kung saan sa dalawa Mux or Everest. My wife told me it is easy for her if Eve kunin namin, kaso mas gusto ko Mux. Konting sira na lang mga sir sa Mux Eve na ako.

I suggest check another tread here. Sa fortuner, montero, MuX thread and then sa Battle of the SUV comparo thread. Baka kasi sabihin nila vias ako, lol. Base on my research, ang issue ng Monty is yung steering wheel, nagbabawas ng engine oil, at medyo masikip ang loob, sumasayad tuhod mo sa center console, Fortuner dati are yung jerky tranny which is till now eh may nakakaexperience pa din at saka yung matagtag rides. Sa MuX naman, feel cheap interior which is nasa bibili na yun kung oks lang sa kanya, pero yung Euro2 engine is a big NO for me and yung maingay nga ang makina. Sa Everest naman, lumabas na issue is yung auto leveling sa headlight which is sa T+ model 2015 lang affected.

Now with a budget 1.5M, compare mo ngayon ang specs and features between this 4 models. Top list ko sa NVH is yung Everest-Trend model, then Monty, Fortuner , last ang MuX. Safety features naman, Everest pa rin, next Monty, MuX and last is Fortuner. Sa Ride Quality naman, Monty, then followed by Everest, Mux and Fortuner. Sa Interior naman, mas prefer ko ang Everest, pinakamaluwag and mas nagagandahan ako sa design, followed by Fortuner, then Monty, last yung MuX. Overall exterior appearance which is subjective, nangunguna pa rin Everest sa list ko, next is Fortuner, MuX then last Monty. Sa Sound Entertainment naman, nangunguna pa rin ang Everest, IMO di mo na kailangan magupgrade ng speaker. May built in subwoofer na ang Eve. Sa PMS and FC, nasabi ko na sa previous post ko.

ang nagpapamahal lang naman ng pms ng everest e yung air filter na P3750. pwede ka naman bumili ng air filter sa banawe P1700 or sa lazada P1600 free delivery na. tapos paalis mo yung mga unnecessary charges like car wash (P500 na car wash), belt dressing, etc. para sa trend model iqu-quote ka nila ng P12k, mapababa mo yan ng P9k or even P8k sama na yung cost ng filter na bili mo outside of casa.

Sinabi rin ng agent sa wife ko sir ang frequency ng PMS w/c is every 6 months/10000km estimated cost is 20k yearly. Bakit kasi walang navigation ang kaya ng budget ko. Samantalang sa MUX meron, sapol na sana.

Tapos medyo worried lang ako sa displacement na 2.2L, hindi ba xa maliit sa ganun kalaking sasakyan? Unang sasakyan namin is Mazda B2200, para bang bumalik lang ako sa dating maliit na makina. Oo given na hi-tech na tayo ngayon, kaya mataas na ang torque at power output. Kaya need ko talaga honest feedback galing sa inyo na may everest na sir. Salamat.

huwag mong gawin na deciding factor ang navigation kasi celphone lang ang katapat nun. download ka lang ng waze or sygic sa celphone mo mas maganda pa at may traffic updates pa. ang navigation na built in walang traffic updates. ang waze updated pa ang map lagi. ang sygic pro naman €29 lang (free yung regular sygic) better than waze kasi di need ng broadband connection to work, perpetual map update din. kung trip mo download mo sa ipad laki pa ng screen mo.

di ka ibibitin ng 2.2 na eve. 160 hp is kore than enough for the trend loaded with 7 pax and luggage. feel ko nga mas mabagal ang 3.2 kasi mabigat yung 4x4 nya.
