Edit on my previous post. It's supposed to be Mustang not Everest. Will be depositing reservation soon hehehe
My SA show me the photo. They delivery 2 days after I left Manila, the car keep inside their warehouse, for the eye only. Haha
Meron dito ngayon sa MOA...
Poocha, bakit ang sikip? Parang ang laki ng iniliit... Nauuntog pa ako sa pagpasok eh 5-7 lang ako...
Tingin ko parang pang 5-seater lang
Can't be E mas malapad siya sa ranger ng 12mm di ba? It can't be that it will be less width inside?
Anyway, i'll be seeing for myself in 6 days time, with a measuring tape in hand.
Honestly sa loob nga parang feel ko rin is cramp sya compared to previous gen, but baka sa paninibago lang yan siempre actual voume and dimension would prove otherwise. But what really noticeable is the big step up of quality and d design sa interior pa lang yan! The interior lamp is not the typical rectangle type and pati sidings and door jam really well thought of. I have initially entertain the thought of pulling out my reservation and wait for the new Montero but once I' ve seen all the car features, it will be it na. Sa MIAS ko sya nakita una but bitin kse we can't inspect car interior. Ohh, try to peek as welll sa underside and you'll be convince more, solidly built.
If it is at least the same width inside as the ranger/bt50 (i have the bt50) then it is wide enough for me. I only need seating for 6 anyway. Kasya nga kami sa bt50 e. I'll just need a bike carrier.
How is the roof rail? Is it usable or decor lang yun? Can it be fitted with a roof box?
Same observation. Sa labas it really looks wide, pero nung tinry ko umupo sa loob ( Trend variant - front/2nd/3rd row) medyo nasikipan ako compared sa mu-X/Trailblazer. Knees brush against the front seats, sa 3rd row di masyado scalloped footwell. Tapos onti na lang sasabit na ulo ko sa roof (I'm 5'11 btw)
But at least you could slide the 2nd row para mag vary din ang legroom depending on the passengers. Plus space after 3rd row is better on the Everest too.
In term of car size and feature, I have no regrets to choose Everest.
The only thing worry me was, reputation of Ford is no so good. Marketing and servicing, Hope they change now.
I own a Japan ford before that around year of 90, that laser TX 3 turbo don't give me any problem at all.
I never go back to Mitsubishi, Beco of poor service. Normal PMS took 3 to 4 days. Maybe too much Montero to service. Also cost of PMS is high.
