just sharing my driving experience for the last week including the long trip to and from Bicol. total distance covered is about 1,400 kms, FC is at 9km/L during the trip to Bicol with about 600kms covered. after the whole trip, the FC was down to about 8.9km/L dahil na rin sa mga running idle times. FC computation is by onboard calculation only. total passenger is 5 adults plus fully loaded with 2 luggages and other stuffs with third row seats down. the trip was very relaxed and easy. no problem in overtaking slow moving trucks and tricycles on the provincial road, hindi bitin sa power. I love it when I floor the gas pedal ang lakas humatak, also drove it on uphill and downhill twisties, ang gaan ng steering. maximum speed is only at 140 for a short while as there was not much chance to run on high speed. no chance din to test the 4wd. no complaints at all. pansin ko ang dami na palang bumili ng Everest. ang dami kong nakasalubong at nakasabay sa daan. pansin ko din na may mga nag-fflash ng headlight ng mga nakakasalubong ko kahit na daytime, I think it is because of the DRL?

kanina I brought it for the 1K PMS. the sales agent also told me about the 4x2 Titanium Premium na ilalabas daw. ang sabi nya lahat daw ng features na meron sa 3.2 Premium ay meron din sa 4x2 Titanium Premium.

20x8.5. not sure about offset, some say et 30, some say zero.

Just got my 4x2 Titanium yesterday finally after waiting for a month. Some initial observations based on feedback I read in this thread:

1. Aircon has a few seconds lag after turning it on before the air comes out. I guess this is how it was set up.
2. When my steering wheel is centered, kumakabig nga to the left like some of the feedback here. What did you do to fix this? Should I have it realigned during my 1k PMS?
3. Nakakahilo tignan ng konti yung side mirrors, maybe because of the shape and the blind spot feature?
4. Rear view mirror is bluish, is this because of the anti-glare function?
5. Ride was a bit matagtag when I got the unit. However it was because mataas yung tire pressure, i went straight to a gas station and had it lowered to 35 lang, then ok na.
6. Overall ride and power is good, nakapag skyway na ako and no issues on overtaking, even for a 2.2 lang, although have not tried yet na punong puno yung sasakyan.
7. Lack of gps and video functionality in sync 2, di ko pa mashado nakakalikot eh, napagod na yesterday.

Overall, even with the above observations, i am still very happy, first SUV ko (i came from 2 civics and 2 lancers in the past), so unfortunately no point of comparison for me

On FC reading sa dash pala i had 12.3km/l from paranaque to greenhills, through skyway and traffic for about half of the trip.

3. 2-step yung side mirrors, mas curved sa outer part. - Yeah, curved yung outer part. It will take a bit of adjusting lang for me.

4. did you remove the plastic already? may blue plastic film yun need mo alisin. same with the instrument panel, door protector, sync-2 screens. - ah i didn't notice kung may plastic yung rearview mirror. Cge check ko later.

kung tama yung nakita ko na et30 ang oem then swak pa yan, lalabas lang konti so mas gaganda pa stance.

ang tanong e kung magugustuhan mo pa din siya pag nakita mo "in person". yan din type na type ko dati and was about to get it fitted na. tapos nung hinawakan ko napansin ko MAY CANAL SA LIP. malalim yung canal sir, mga 3/4" wide x 1" deep. babahayan ng dumi yun. o pag inihian ng aso maiipon dun sa canal. see for yourself, daming tanay sa wheels shops sa banawe.

Kita ko na sir, i can live with it, madali lang naman linisin. kaso inaalala ko, baka may sayad sya even sa stock tire na 265.50 kasi medyo lalabas sya compared sa oem. Love the color kaso di ko lang alam kung babagay sa aluminum silver.. may nakita ako na silver na naka tanay ng bronze face, kaso pick up

I dont want my everest to look like extreme offroad thats why last resort will be black wheels.. tama na ang isa na pang offroad. Medyo disente (pwede pang formal) pero capable...

Got my Titanium Plus yesterday and was configuring with all the settings. Hope someone here can explain the meaning and differences of the following lock settings. Went through the manual but couldn't find any explanation.

LOCK SETTINGS:
Autolock- I assume car locks when it starts to move?
Autounlock- Unlocks when you turn off the engine?
Relock - Relocks when no door is opened after a certain time when unlocked
Mislock - ???
Switch Inhibit - ???

Hope someone here can enlighten me on these settings.

How to turn on the autolock? Pansin ko kasi di naglolock yung doors kahit na lampas 20kph takbo ko.

autolock - locks at 20 kph
autounlock - unlocks when engine off and front doors open. rear doors keeps locked if the front doors are not opened.
relock - if the doors are unlocked using the remote, it locks the doors again after some time if no doors are opened.
mislock - gives 2 beeps of the horn if a door is ajar after locking with the remote
switch inhibit - yan ang di ko alam. maybe if the fob battery is weak it inhibits the remote from triggering the lock/unlock functions? usually kasi maga-alarm pag mahina na ang fob battery.
