its not about performance its about durability what makes DMax the favored pickup by Thailander. Kung performance lang ang habol mo lagyan mo ng mga dp chip/ race chip kasi yan ginagawa ng mga thailander. just my two cents

Hindi makukuha ng Kahit Ano pang race chip pa Ang Ilagay mo... When it comes to Nvh, vibrations, handling, smoothness... Hangang engine power Lang ang race chip...

Sorry to say mas Maganda talaga overall, tumakbo ang ranger sa dmax-- Lamang Lang ang dmax siguro sa durability... Pero we are still not sure at that, since 2013 Lang naman lumabas ang ranger.. But I know someone nasa 180k kms. Na t6 nya...

Kahit sa car comparo-- the ranger is the way to go...

Durability... I'm sure naman tatagal NG 8yrs ang ranger... Usually naman we replaced our rides after the 5th year of ownership... Unless nalang siguro kung sa Delivery Lang natin gagamitin like the FB type..

Actually 1st choice ko Dati dmax din... Pilipino mentality... IZusu MATIBAy.... But when I Test drive both.... Naku ang layo po talaga...

Pero honestly, right now, I'm looking for cargo and service Ng Mga technician namin.. The first thing that comes to my mind is the L300 fb and yung Dmax fb... Malamang malapit na don AKO mag tanong sa dmax page...

Pero kung Ako ang gagamit... Ranger ang binilhin ko...

Just check the ford TH. And discover the different spec from Us.

I just compare the 2.2 titanium.

    TH wheel 18". PH 20"
TH 9 speaker with subwoofer/amplifier. PH 10 speakers.

    As for price. TH 1,269,000. ( P 1,645,700 )

    PH 1,639,000.imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1442412629.963701.jpgimageuploadedbytsikot-forums1442412648.080324.jpg

Actually, even our 2015 Mustang didn't need to be broken in before as told by Ford Global City. 1st oil change will be done on the 10,000th km, same with the other Ford vehicles such as the Ranger and the Everest

Sir, is that 10k COI only or the mandatory casa visit (PMS) itself?

All things that will be done with the oil change, which is also mandatory.

Oh by the way, it's Thai, not Thailander. There is no such thing as Thailander.

Nagtataka ako what a thailander is. Akala ko kotse na di ko alam. Parang islander. Thai pala. Hehehe.

Anyway, since when did we need to get the approval of our neighbor? If dmax is selling better or fortuner is selling better in Thailand, then good for isuzu and toyota. If you like the performance of the car, the look and you are seeing a generally acceptable reviews, then buy that car if you really like it. Don't buy that car just because everyone else likes it. Maybe there is a reason why a lot of people like hilux or fortuner or d-max but at the end of the day, you are paying for the car that you really like. You do not need the consent of your neighbor.

So, this whole sales thing does not really mean anything. So what if the car that you really like is dead last. As long as it is not because of poor reviews, then it does not really matter. As far as I have read, the reviews are generally good. On the other hand, I would prefer a car that is not mainstream. I dont want to be just one of the thousand fortuner/montero/innova/mux/etc/etc out there. But that is just me.

Why is this ranger vs dmax thai sales comparison important in this Ford Everest thread again?

If you are not happy about Ford Everest because it is not the top seller, then buy a different brand. But still, it is not important in this thread. If someone makes a volkswagen thread, no one really mentions that vw sold less cars than bmw in thailand. No one really cares. If someone makes a dmax vs ranger thread, then you can do that comparison. But at this thread, no one really cares. Personally, I don't care how a certain car fared in another country.

Most likely reason is typical fan boy of his car brand, don't be surprise if we see him on the other thread telling off topic story and bringing again his dmax.

    Sorry OT na.
Let us all go back to New Everest topic.

Sales figures don't tell the whole story. Madami naman reasons why people buy a particular car - purpose, budget, specs, personal preferences, brand loyalty, prestige, etc. Add mo pa dyan marketting strategy ng dealers.

Kung sales figures lang basehan e di panget pala ang BMW, Mercedez Benz, Porsche at Ferrari kasi konti lang benta e.
