I find it's easier to get in & out of 3rd row seat and much more comfortable on the current Fortuner. The Everest's 3rd row seat's backrest is fixed while it can be adjusted in the Fortuner.

I don't know about the 2nd row, the Fortuner seems to have more leg room.

On the other hand, I was comparing the black interior of an Ambiente to a beige interior of a Fortuner.

Anyway, i'll be seeing for myself in 6 days time, with a measuring tape in hand.
About measurements, people tend to register the number but not the unit of measurement and it can be confusing with metric.

What's 12mm? That's 1.2 cm, Ford could have flared the fenders 6mm or 0.6 cm on either side & you'll get a wider exterior without making the interior bigger.

^^ correct, pero it is also not logical that the exterior is wider by 12 mm and the interior will be more cramped than a vehicle that is 12 mm narrower. So if you are saying +12 mm outside dimensions does not make a difference, does it not follow it should also not make any difference inside?

I compared because I currently own a Montero and owned a Fortuner before. Leg room on the 2nd row is better on the Everest than the 2 Japanese PPVs. The only gripe I can say about the Everest is that the 2nd row doesn't tumble in order to have an easy access to the 3rd row. But the 2nd row of the Everest can be slided forward and backward to adjust the leg room, which is missing on the Trailblazer/MU-X, Fortuner and Montero. And if you will compare the seat support of the Titanium variant to the Fortuner's, Montero's and Trailblazer's/MU-X, the Everest is more supple and plushier. I know because

Sobrang laki naman talaga kasi ng legroom ng old Everest for both 2nd and 3rd row. Bigger than the Explorer.

But it felt so bare, maluwag siya kasi ang nipis ng sidings and parang isang malaking box yung dinadrive mo.

Got my Ford Everest yesterday. So far so good naman. Sobrang ingat na ingat pa.
Isa masasabi ko, from dating Innova to Everest, kailangan ko magdahan dahan na sa apak. Hahaha

The 2nd row naadjust nga sya front/backward but not nag fold and tumble so kapag sasakay ka sa 3rd row medyo challenge. Aapakan mo tlaga yung back ng 2nd row seat and medyo mataas sya kaya need to crouch. Definitely for kids and youngsters para not abig deal yun. Sa mga not so young and big ME BIG ABS. Complikado ang egress/ingress nya.

Anyway Am sold to it na☺️ Waiting for my Cool white Eve na hopefully by December.. Still a toss for Trend vs Titanium

I have a fortuner and new everest. Fortuner 2nd row is way better in terms of space and seating position. All members of the family agree.

Saw the Titanium 3.2 sa MOA kanina.
it looks good inside and out, specially the black interior cieling.

Medyo sablay nga lang sa third row. Mahirap mag in & out. No tumble down 2nd row.
And the legroom (i think) is less than the current montero on the 3rd row. I didint sit on it kasi madami tumitingin.

Any feedback or help is highly appreciated. thanks.
