2.2L engine of the Everest has 160 ps and 385 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission, while the 2010 Fortuner's 2.5L engine has 102 ps and 260 Nm torque and its 3.0L engine has 163 ps and and 343 Nm torque, both engines mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission.

Yun nga balak namin titanium premium. Pero benta ko muna GS ko kasi garage queen na coz sa out of town trips na lang ginagamit. Then pag released na eve benta ko naman bt50. Eve becomes my farm ride and coding car. Eve saka sorento na lang i-keep ko.

Matagal pa to, dream state pa lang hehehe. Pipila pa ko sa waiting list. Hopefully by december or january.

Yup, the new Everest is significantly better than the 2010 Fortuner,- and even vs. the current 2.5L VNT diesel Fortuner - 140+ps; 340+NM torque 4A/T....

Of course, the forthcoming Fortuner will be another story.

yup titanium premium has those and more. additional features over the titanium are panoramic moonroof, power fold 3rd row seats, auto-leveling projector headlights with hid (halogen projector and no auto leveling for titanium), headlamp washer, led drl (non-led for trend and titanium), 8-way power adjust passenger seat (driver only for titanium), 240V inverter, power liftgate, heads up display, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, collision mitigation and active park assist (though mas magaling pa mag-parallel parking misis ko kesa 75% ng male drivers out there). sulit na sulit yung 100k!

Halogen lang ang DRL ng 4x2 Titanium. Yung DRL ng Titanium 4X4 Plus ay LED. Ang freebie lang ay floor matting pero nakakuha ako malaking discount sa in-house insurance. 42K instead of 52K. Fully paid in cash para makuha ko agad at di na bayad financing charges.

my QC SA told me, they can match the price for insurance...i think 42K is reasonable. beco they cover act of God.

DI = "dealer's incentive", it's the commission car dealership receive from the bank or financing company for loan referrals.
I'm wondering if you still have to pay DI if you pay in cash. Also, i am guessing you will shoulder the DI and not the banks or financial institutions or possibly the banks pass this cost to you right?

For my case. So far my SA never talk about DI. He advice get the insurance in house and willing to match the other insurance rate.
If I get the in house insurance, I able to get the cut the Q.

And they asking me when I can arrange the bank PO to them.

Just hope I don't face DI problem.

Walang DI sa cash payment. Pag humingi ng DI pwede mo barilin mga makakapal ang mukha.

They have a huge stock of Everests for the Philippine market. I dont think bumping off cash buyers will be an issue.

Hopefully what you said will be true since our family will be in the market for a midsize diesel SUV by next year. Also heard [IIRC] that the Philippines is the Everest's second biggest market next to Australia.
