Hi po mga sir, newbie here. Got my 3.2 TOTL sunset red a week ago after almost 4 months waiting 😂😂😂 btw, i got my unit in Ford Laguna under Dearborn motors which only requires 1% DI and didn't require anything bought to them. Got my insurance free 1st year thru BPI P.O. (We've computed na mas ok na yung free sa 1st year makaktipid ka ng ilang thousand vs getting the insurance sa iba) and they don't require you to get their tint compared sa autohub group (bgc).

Anyways, i like every feature that the car offers. The only downside is that parang ang bagal nya mag accelerate from 0-40 (parang may lag) or kasi diesel engine siya and i am used na idrive gas fed cars. But from 60-100++ mabilis naman, actually you won't notice na nag exceed ka na pala ng 100 kasi super tahimik sa loob ng cabin. Maximum speed ko palang now since below 1k kms palang is 120kph (i have no idea if it is ok or not, hehee) and damn! ang lakas nya pala mag consume ng gas. My first full tank just got a reading of 6.6km/L on average but mostly city driving versus ny Nissan Cefiro na V6 5.6km/L ang average gas consumption. (Buti nalang mura diesel) Will observe siguro first few full tanks kung may improvements and after the 1k km maintenance by the dealer. And i forgot, yes mejo matagtag nga sya or MATAGTAG talaga. Sorry mga sir i have no idea when it comes to tires kaya i would like to ask for suggestion regarding this matter.

All I can say is that love at first sight ko talaga tong Everest. My dad told me to get the TOTL Fortuner but i refused, aside from it being overpriced (i'd rather add half a million bucks and get the new explorer) the specs and tech stuff is no way near what the everest offers. Nothing against the new montero aside from it's rear lights (turn off ako dun sa mahabang ilaw sa likod, ahahha!)

Sa tagtag naman, galing kang cefiro so you're coming from a luxurious ride to a PPV/pickup passenger vehicle na lahat may tagtag talaga. Either change to bigger tires or lower the tires' pressures (leading to uneven tire wear). HTH

Question for AMBIENTE owners....

What does the 4 inch TFT screen do? Is it just a monitor to view the radio stations? Because according to my SA & the Ford Phil web site, it's not touch screen but it has SYNC gen 1.

Sa tagtag naman, galing kang cefiro so you're coming from a luxurious ride to a PPV/pickup passenger vehicle na lahat may tagtag talaga. Either change to bigger tires or lower the tires' pressures (leading to uneven tire wear). HTH

I'm actually alright without the glasscoat but my dad is insisting kasi daw when he cleaned the car dami na daw agad scratches.

guys yung radio head unit ba ninyo kapag naka turn on yung radio then shut off mo yung engine & pullout yung key without pushing the off button sa radio, naka on pa rin ba yung radio? nangyari kasi sa akin. nakatanggal na yung key pero naka on pa rin yung radio.

Hi, first time owning an suv with beige interior and this is my only problem for now. How do you keep it clean mga sirs? 1 week pa unit ko pero marumi na in some parts. May jean stains na rin sa driver's seat. Any recommended cleaning materials that is effective and not too harmful sa leather?
I don't mind that this suv has a stiffer suspension than my old montero but a dirty interior is a much bigger headache for me. Anyone else that could relate?😁

Mine is Beige and nagbalak ako pachangecolor sa Leder Interia kaso sabi ke Yebo nila not applicable daw kase mostly Faux Leather . So my only options is to have it coated ng Ceramic Pro ang interiors. I like the looks yun lang maintenance issue

Activated ko na,

1. Navigation Menu; compass lang meron sa gauge cluster, alang PH SD card map eh. Sayang...

2. 4x4 menu(ung may picture ng everest tapos kita roll angle, yaw and pitch) Feeling 4x4 na trend ko..

* no problems with warranty since pede revert back to default program in 5mins. Pede rin sadyain na wag alisin para ma amaze ung ford dealer + bibigyan ko sila ng sagot na: "Di ko alam yan sir. Basta ganyan na yun nung nabili ko eh... May sira po ba? Anu po problema? Under warranty pa yan ahh..."

* hopefully ma activate ko na remote start this
weekend.

*please note na useless i activate ang isang feature if wala ka namang module to start with. Example is yung BLISS, pede ko sya i activate pero alang radar/proximity sensor si trend ko.

* mini EB only para sa interested. Too lazy na to discuss long programming lines here.

Just to give you an update, the result of IDS of course no error, but the roadtest to simulate the incident gave the same result as mine ( as told by the SA). Dina ko sumama sa road test baka ibangga nila eh. The conclusion: Part of the safety feature when adaptive cruise control is active. I just need to confirm if you dont have to restart but shift to neutral just what sir yebo said. The SA told me this was also their first time to experience the feature (safety?). Thanks to my unit. What do you say guys?

Quick tip,

If nakapark ka sa sidewalk, especially at night, you can use your signal light, i switch mo on which side gusto mo illuminate at iilaw ung parker light both front and rear. Mamatay sya if na reach na nya critical battery low voltage.

Just use the "CAN-BUS" or "BCM" friendly ones na LED and HID kits kundi mag shutdown ang Headlamp mo or error ang BCM.

Pero, if wala ka makita na ganung HID kit, pede na ordinary basta i-pa turn OFF mo lang sa casa mo ung headlamp fault detection
