Di sila pumayag. Malamang dun lang sila kikita.
can any other everest owners please chime in.
When I first got my everest the steering was extremely light (can move it with 1 finger) while stationary/slow.
Now almost 2000km later (1+ month) and the steering has stiffened up a bit by about 20-40%. Still very manageable and light but not as light as when I first had it. Has anyone else experienced the same or is your power steering still as light as a feather from the first day you got it?
Ford told me everything was ok during the first 1km checkup.
Good day!

Went to Robinson Magnolia yesterday and found Ford Edsa (Greenhills) was there promoting the Everest. I inquired from the sales agent there and ask if they have units for Titanium 4x2. She said yes & would call back tom(today). Today she called and ask what mode of payment will I be availing, I said Bank PO from Metrobank. She ask me to ask the bank to call her. After that my bank called and said that dealer wants a 3% Dealer's incentive instead of the 1%. The extra 2% will be pass on to the client. It means I'll be buying the car for 1.672m instead of 1.639m. That's aside the interest I will be paying to my bank. Grabe Hold up pala sa FORD EDSA Greenhills!
Mga boss naka 2015 model. 2.2 engine. Talaga bang medyo maingay ang pag accelerate? From 0-60 kmh? Or akin lang?
May plano po ba ang FordPH na dalhin ang Trend MT dito? AFAIK, India has it.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll try inflating my tires. I think they are at 33-35 psi with 20" rims. When I got them it was at 40 psi and very light steering but a slightly harsh ride. So i'll try 40 again to see however I'm really enjoying the smoother less tagtag ride at my current psi setup.
Seems India is really obsessed about MT, due to control over the car and better fuel economy. Some Indian reviewers/press even mentioned when the variants were announced in Thailand that it's best to get the lowest ambiente option over the titanium simply because the titanium only comes in AT. So most likely due to the demand of MT they opted their trend to have MT. Most likely we won't see it in Philippines yet and reserved only for the base model, however when more units are available and more clients seek a MT option in the higher variants will be most likely when it becomes available. Since there is shortage of units available except many ambiente base models most likely they will want to offload those first before selling the MT in the higher variants.
sa mga naka 2.2 how do you find the power, adequate ba o medyo bitin? pag nasa provincial highway yung tipong di mabibitin sa pag overtake especially when loaded. thanks for sharing.
Di naman bitin ang power nya although I haven't tried filling up my Eve to the 7 seater capacity. At the most 4 family members + driver. Compared to my 2013 Everest, laking difference in terms of power. Tuwang tuwa nga ang driver hatawin at gusto i-overtake lahat. Di ka mabibitin unless abusuhin mo ang karga na 7 katao plus gamit on an out-of-town trip. Pag ganun ang balak then get the 3.2 liter variant. Remember that you are buying a diesel SUV not a petrol fed sports car.
Kung gusto hataw na parang gasolina, wag mag-AC.![]()
May update na ba dun tumirik na Everest sa Baguio at yung sa Palawan? Ano kaya mga naging problems nun?
