    Supposedly the fan assembly has been updated since then. The local units most likely have the updated assembly, as the delivery of the initial batch to the Philippines was delayed a number of times, probably because Ford was working to address this problem.

    Sir! I just want to ask kung parehong pareho ang specs ng Ford Explorer sa U.S. at yung nilabas sa Philippines...

    Anyways, the wait list is so long for this explorer. Went to Ford EDSA the other day. Decided to pony up the reservation fee only when they fix the Sync problems with the software update. That scared me off since i ALWAYS play with the buttons on the dash.



    Im not expecting more than 4km/ liter on this one.

    Damnit still no paddle shifters. Oh well compromise....
    how long is the waiting time now? last month when i inquired it was about 3 months but decided not to reserve one since i wanted to wait and see how reliable the car is before i buy one.

    By the numbers on the test track, no... around the same, actually. But the CX9 feels like it has more midrange grunt. Hard to make a comparison because the last time I drove a CX9 was one or two years ago.

    Aside from the MFT/Sync issues, does someone know if they have already corrected the A-pillar rattle/windshield noise in the current production? This, according to some is a design flaw so its something we need to ask from the local distributor.

    CX-9 has less horsepower, but more torque from its older but bigger 3.7 liter Duratec-based engine.

    Yes, may pila pa rin irregardless of which dealership. So far, Ford Global as they offer 20K gas coupon once you reserve 50K without backing out.

    hmmm.. may kilala ako sa ford at sabi nya, ipapaubos pa daw nila lahat ng lumang explorer bago nila irelease yung bagong mga explorer.. means matatagalan pa! LOL
