Ah ok. I agree with you..mas masarap tlaga ang feel ng manual dahil you feel the connection between man and machine..

Btw, 2 types yung fuel consumption reading ha, yung average FC at instant FC. Malalaman mo na instant fc yung nakadisplay if instanteneousIy changing Yung reading.

It maintains your current speed when the cruise control is turned on. The +/- will adjust your speed incrementally by 1 or 2 km/h. If your rpm is too low or too high for that gear then it's time for u to change gear. Once u change gear or brake, the cruise control switches off.

Guys, Im about to buy a ranger this month, though still have a few questions....

How come the engine of the New Ranger doesn't have a VNT(Variable Nozzle Turbo)?

And the Mazda BT-50 does have one? what is the difference?

Was just comparing it to the cruise control on an auto tranny. Since it's an auto, when "resuming" from a lower speed, it will do the necessary gear shifts to attain whatever speed you've programmed in. With the manual tranny though, it's just more of a speed lock.

Both the Ranger and Bt50 have Variable Geometry Turbo. They share the same engine. VNT is another name for VGT but are actually the same.

its becuase it has a vgt rather than having vnt... but still they have turbos unlike the past ranger with mechanical..both turbos are variable which stands for the vnt (variable nozzle turbo) and vgt (variable geometric turbo.... the mazda and ford both share the same engines

How come the ranger does not have these features: ABS | EBD | BA | DSC | TCS | HSA | HDC ??? But the Mazda BT-50 4x2 does have it? I would have been better if they have those features... darn

Well, this could be Ford and Mazda's way of trying not to eat into each other's market 100%, by not going completely head to head.

I believed that the Ranger does have some of the features you listed like the ABS/EBD/BA for the XLT variant that is. The WILDTRAK I think have all the features listed.

I know it has ABS with EBD but what is BA?

I would recommend it but if you have a bigger budget and can wait I'd go for the 2.2 Wildtrak which will come this year but indefinite pa when.

Ganun talaga limitation ng MT. Though it can still resume speed but to lesser extent or limited speed range for a certain gear. Say +/-10kph. Bec I opted for MT, I have to bear with it. Just describing how cruise control works in MT. AT has better advantage in cruise control. I guess AT fits your requirement.
