Sir any idea kung magkano? AT or MT? Sana MT na lang. Ang 3.2 kasi AT lng daw meron.

AT would be around php 1,515,000 based dun sa nabenta early 3.2 units. Can't guarantee na ganun parin next year.

Unfortunately hindi lahat ng features ng 3.2 nasa 2.2 Wildtrak. Alam ko wala yung rear view camera, wala rin yung additional 4 airbags and a couple of others kasi around 1.2m siya. It looks like the 3.2 Wildtrak talaga though

Recently i noticed a strange sound underneath the vehicle. These are my observation:

1. The closest description would be like a "knock" sound, or the sound produced whenever something underneath your car is hit by a rock.
2. How audible? Well i can even hear it with CD playing at volume #5..
3. Happens during stop and go traffic or slow moving traffic usually between 20-40 km/h. It happens when the auto tranny is in gear transition, if i'm not mistaken when the gear changes from 2nd to 3rd gear.. I still have to check again if it is between gear transition or after..

Anybody here with the same experience?

My guess is it has the same dual clutch transmission as Ford Focus & Fiesta. Same thing is happening in PowerShift transmission. May hear mechanical shifting noise * 3:06.

Sir duramax_994 Im also experiencing that sound with my ranger I am hearing it when shifting from 2 gear going to 3rd gear.

sir bili ka mothers wax step 2 to 3 and 4 sakin laging may hair line buti na lang nawawala kahit step 4 lang gamit ko

Thanks sir....I'm still studying...if kaya ng budget in 2 years time to have the 3.2 na 4x4..hopefully.... 2.2 4x4 XL is base model...although personal preference nung iba...na talagang basic lang...I'd rather to maximize my budget to get all the features in 4x4 kahit 2.2 but sana ginawang full options....

Sir, ranger is using torque converter not dual clutch transmission.Mt82 for manual and 6r80 for automatic.

AFAIK, yung 2.2 Wildtrak is 1.450M. What you're referring to is the 4x4 XL, I think. I saw one 2.2 Wildtrak a couple of months ago and inspected its exterior. It has a reverse camera embedded on the Ford badge at the rear.

If that will be the price and has the rear view camera but no curtain airbags then i'd rather go for the 3.2 for an additional more or less 100k since the fuel economy of the 2.2 and 3.2 doesn't have a huge gap.

I'm not sure if it has no curtain airbags because I haven't asked the owner about it. But yeah, I think it has curtain airbags because FGP didn't removed the features found in the Thai market 2.2 Wildtrak 4x4.

Sir i tried to google the connection between the Ranger and the Powershift Transmission but the links always point to the Focus/Fiesta..

At least there's two of us na with the same experience. I'll bring this up sa dealer this weekend. I hope it's just part of its normal operation.

Sir please give us feedback as soon as you get what ford's info regarding that knock. Im planning to get this good looking pick up din kasi and I prefer AT.

Oops my mistake. U r right, TJ. Thanks for the correction.
I Googled Mt82. It listed some problems in mustang like difficulty in shifting. I've noticed the same in ranger. It causes delays in shifting. Will ask dealer if they have Technical Service Bulletin to correct it.

Eh kasi Hindi naman talaga power shift ang ranger kaya. Imagination ko Lang pala yun. =)

Ako rin from full stop tapos going to 2nd gear may naririnig akong tunog sa ilalim halos ramdam ko pa sa accelerator. medyo mabagal pa yong pagpalit ng gear lalo na sa 4th, 5th & 6th gear inaabot ako ng 2300 to 2400 rpm bago magpalit ang gear. Ginagamit ko yong manual mode nya para lang makapag shift agad ako ng gear.
