Kinda complicated imho; they may not like jollibee all that much, but then they remember the good old days spent at jollibee, spent with their families. senti lang kumbaga ^_^

Jollibee has done a good job marketing to kids (dunno exactly what though, mas maganda usually yung toys sa McDo), and if you market to kids, alangan naman mag isa pupunta ng jollibee yan, siyempre kasama si kuya, ate, mama, si wallet este papa, maybe even lolo, lola, tito, tita, pinsan.

So you market to one kid, you get the whole angkan ^_^

Also, in business it's not always about who makes the best burger/chicken; it's more about managing the business, part of which is managing the supply chain, and...oops.

Chickenjoy is still good but the size of their chicken is shrinking every year.. and I remember dati.. they don't serve wings.. and if you order 2 pcs.. it used to be combination of big and small size.. ngayon wala ka na choice.. kung ano na lang available..

I agree their palabok is different now.. minsan soggy na noodles minsan watery pa.. nawawala na lasa..

OT: yung mga kiddie meal nila dati imbes na laruan, yung mga talagang nagagamit ng bata like baunan, plato, kutsara, tumbler etc.

ngayon pag pinagsawaan ng bata wala na.

Sadly nagiging norm na yan ng ibang companies looking for outsource IT partners. Nagiging mabenta yung mga small firm kasi sobrang mura compared to the likes of Accenture, IBM, HP, etc. Well I think this will be an eye opener to them.

AFAIK sa contract ng mga ganyan may agreement na kapag may certain SLAs na hindi na-meet ang outsource partner, may babayaran sila sa client nila. So I bet may binayaran yan Capgemini sa JFC. Just don't know kung justified yung nalulugi everyday ng jobi.

nope..... they are doing manual inventory and delivery now.
punta ka sa may JFC office sa ortigas, may makikita kang mga refrigerated trucks dun.... tapos may tao na nagdidistribute.

I don't know if there's an truth to it but I heard that the real reason is that they have supplier issues which got compounded with the port congestion that is affecting everyone.

If you meant that they concocted that major IT migration issue , for me malabo:

    - for one, why would CapGemini, the CIO, etc. willingly take the blame(or at least, hasn't said anything to defend/prove its innocence) for a problem that isn't even in their field of expertise?

    - i don't see how faking serious issues with your IT to hide supply chain/port congestion issues(it's not only Jollibee getting affected) makes things look any better

    - technically, the port congestion isn't Jollibee's fault; it would be so easy to shift blame to the government, yet they prefer to blame it on their own IT department? i.e.

port congestion = government at fault
IT problem = Jollibee at fault
