The buck stops at the CIO, he has the last say for huge projects like this. If this happened on a different country on a publicly traded company the CIO would have already been terminated.

No, if the contract was not renewed by jollibee then oracle does not have any responsibility to continue the service. Bakit masisira pangalan nila kung nagprovide naman sila ng service until the contract was terminated by the client.

"Pare,------ Wowwww Cubaooooooo!"

Hmm, open secret naman siguro kung sino yung IT firm di ba? If they own up to it officially, then malabo sigurong cover up yan -- who'd risk their own firm's name for Jollibee? On the other hand, if they deny it...

There's a rumor going about that they source chicken from China; pero maliliit yung manok na gamit sa Chickenjoy right, and usually malalaki yung imported na manok?

Umiiwas na talaga ako sa pagkain from China ever since the melamine scandal; who the hell puts industrial chemicals in milk?!? Di lang yun, after naconfiscate yung tainted milk products, after a few years it made it back to the market.

Software executive Calen Legaspi, in a blog post, said the “hiring flurry” prior to the Jollibee’s IT migration should have raised a red flag since this indicated that the tech firm did not have the requisite manpower to work on the massive undertaking.
    Well. Duh.

Who in their right mind would trust their multi-billion peso business to a relative unknown without the manpower and resources to take on such a big account?

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Paano kaya nakalusot to sa management ng Jollibee? imho a cursory walkthrough of the plan would have raised red flags already. And, deadlines are deadlines, but if you risk sinking the whole ship...

Egos must have come into play.
