*Because of a dispute with Oracle, Jollibee decided to move its entire supply chain over to Oracle’s rival in this space, SAP.

Looks like jobby burned bridges with Oracle even before a stable migration to SAP. I had my fare share of failed production rollout. But one thing we always have a plan for is a rollback to old system if the rollout fail.

But this story really scared me. Although my projects are smaller scale than this. Kaso unlike this na chickenjoy ang nakataya, mine si related sa medicine so a big foul up can cause a life.

Same as McDonald's, the consistency of taste. Hindi dahil sobrang sarap, it's just because you know what exactly your ordering.

Consistency, plus their Chickenjoy is actually pretty tasty... one of the few "fast food" fried chickens that is still worth spending money on.

The palabok used to be great, too. Now it's just so-so, but yeah, consistency, you always know what you're getting.

Sadly nagiging norm na yan ng ibang companies looking for outsource IT partners. Nagiging mabenta yung mga small firm kasi sobrang mura compared to the likes of Accenture, IBM, HP, etc. Well I think this will be an eye opener to them.

AFAIK sa contract ng mga ganyan may agreement na kapag may certain SLAs na hindi na-meet ang outsource partner, may babayaran sila sa client nila. So I bet may binayaran yan Capgemini sa JFC. Just don't know kung justified yung nalulugi everyday ng jobi.
