Anyone who is into Intermittent fasting? I started logging my fasts late last year, I did not lose any weight naman! LOL! But anyway, that isn't my goal in fasting, I want the benefit of my body repairing itself during the fasting period. It was easy for me yo IF since I don't eat in the morning.
BUT, I realized that I may not be getting the benefits of fasting since I drink my meds and supplements in the morning. For those who IF, do you take your supplements during the fasting period?
Like I said, I'm not in it for weight loss naman. What I wanna know is do people take supplements during the fasting period

For me, all oral meds after lunch. Black coffee lang sa umaga.
Last meal before 8pm, first meal after 12noon
(on a normal non-Covid day, 6:30am ako nasa gym, easier to skip meals kapag may ginagawa)
Lockdown/Quarantine is a big help since minsan 7 pa lang tapos na dinner... then sa haba ng mga morning meeting ko, halos 1pm na ang lunch

Anyone heard about Master cleanse? No food intake for 40 daysI know fasting has its benefits (autophagy) but how can 40 days of just drinking water with lemon be healthy? Siguro 24 hrs na maximum
BB Gandanghari is doing it but I don't think now is the right time to deprive our body of nutrients since we need our body to be strong against the China virus.

Medyo may sayad na talaga si BB gandanghari to do that, I don't think he is on drugs though, pero 11 days na siya walang food intake. That CANNOT be healthy. Again, I believe in autophagy but not for more than 2 days. Early humans/cavemen ba could go for 40 days without eating? I hope he does not get sick

Tried IF for 2 months (16/8). Did not lose a single lb, & my weight stayed the same. Went back to keto past 2 weeks while doing IF pa rin, lost 5lbs so far.
Feeling ko mabaho hininga ng mga nagfa-fasting.. Hehehe hula ko lang naman [emoji23]
I'm doing IF (16/8) for more than 12 months na but I noticed that my period skipped a month after I started IF. I thought it was just a one time thing but it was happening regularly na so I thought of what changed in me (and it was the IF) So I did a bit of googling and it happens to some women ngaI do 14 now and it regularized naman na but sometimes I cannot help but go past 16. Wala naman effort sakin IF since I don't normally eat breakfast but yeah, I did not lose a pound in IF din, I am after the health benefits lang

Grabe si BB Gandanghari, extremely underweight na nga nag fasting pa. He has not eaten in 16 DAYS! That cannot be healthy! Kung mental issue ang overeating, not eating is the same![]()

when the body is stressed, physically or mentally,
the body's metabolism is altered.
an altered metabolism can affect the menstrual cycle.
athletic training, and starvation, are known to cause skipped menstrual cycles.
in medical school, during exam weeks, some classmates say they skipped menstrual cycles.
one other possibility.
your body is giving hints that menopause is nearing.
menopause can start as early as the 40s...
