mas mataba tube mas mababa tunog. kun open type may heat soak din yan kaya mabagal arangkada unless nakatira ka sa cold climate.

Sa concorde in SM southmall, they have simota intake kits. This include tube and the filter. Kung tipid mode, you can use the tube & buy na lang K&N. Sa solarguard in ATC mototown, pede kang mag-purchase ng simota tube then a K&N filter. They quote me 4.5k sa K&N & 1.6k sa tube with free install. This is for my 03 lancer. Pero tipid pa din ako kaya I bought the filter & DIY na lang sa tube.

This is the pic so you can have an idea

yung adapter its a thing that will connect your air filter kit sa dun sa pinagtanggalan ng stock ari filter setup mo... it goes with the kit so no need to worry... kung sa blade ka naman magpupurchase and maagpapainstall, ok lang naman....marunong naman sila dun... kaya lang medyo hindi reasonable ang price ng simota sa kanila. I suggest tryo going to shops na hindi located sa mall.. mas makakamura ka... plus, yun mga magkakabit is i think more experienced...

Sir, if your near alabang, you can try solarguard at ATC motortown. Makakahingi ka pa discount on your tube & filter. Just look for Mai. Madali sya kausap. Solarguard is one of the exclusive distributor ng K&N dito satin, aside from speedlab. You have wide variety of filters to choose from & they will install it for free.

mas malayo sa makina mas malamig ang hangin, mas mabuti para sa makina (cooler air is denser, more O2)

pwede din wala na filter, tanggal headlight, tube lang papunta intake

    ram air

Guys, I have an Innova D4D and contemplating on using the K&N drop-in type replacement filter for my car. I backread a little and here is what I learned:
    1. K&N Filters are washable type.
    2. It has lifetime warranty. It can last practically throughout a car's life.

    My questions are:
    1. Will it be replaced free of charge when damaged?
    2. Does it have the same filtration capability as the stock filters, for innova that is?
    3. Does it have better efficiency?

As the stock filter costs about P3K, the K&N's price of P5K is recoverable within two stock filter changes (total of 40K km). Technically, this will be about two years for an average 20K km per year utilization. Seems economically feasible. Any comments on this?

I don't mind not getting extra power boost or what have you as long as it can provide the same or even better filtration and at the same engine performance. A small power boost is just icing on the cake for me.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments.

Mods ,OFF TOPIC itong filter na brand na gamit ko .Gusto mo kasi better filtration . Kinuha ko itong AEM DRYFLOW SYNTHETIC AIR FILTER para maiba naman . It has 99.4 % FILTRATION as small as 1 Micron. Ang maganda rito NO NEED TO OIL. Reusable element is easy to clean and dries fast. If your intrested go on there website .Search everything regarding AEM DRY FLOW AIR FILTER . Almost use it 2 years ago ,Im happy with the performance and no problem regarding erratic idling because off its filtration . I get mine in the U.S . i dont know if they have distributor here. Suggestion lang.

a cold air intake kit has its filter where it can access cold/outside air easily...an example is from a toyota altis, it has a long tube traveling from the throttle body to the side of the battery and beneath to the in between of the fender and bumper. did you get what i said? hehehe

anyways, if water reach the filter in the bumper/fender housing, it will suck water in into the combustion chamber and it will make 'tirik" of your car. hehehe however there is a bypass valves to evacuate water suck by the filter before it reach the throttle body, but if the filter is 40% soak under water, the bypass cannot be able to filter out water and air.

    anyways, dugo na ilong ko
