stock air filter vs. simota or K&N

Hi Guys, i am planning to buy my honda jazz 09 a new air filter. I am just curious what's the best type of filter for my car (drop-in or cone)? By the way my car is just 1.3mt. Thanks.

I currently have Simota in my cars. Lumakas ang hatak at tumipid compared to the stock filters. Epektib talaga. At least 5 hp siguro ang gain. Gaya ng sabi nila, dapat tutok ka sa maintenance ng filter para ma-optimize mo ang performance.

The differences between Simota and K&N are the price and durability. K&N is at least 3x more expensive and has a lifetime warranty. Performance? Sa tingin ko yung dyno tuning ang makakapagsabi niyan.

So, if you have a big budget in replacing your stock filter, go for K&N (cone-types are more preferred than drop-ins in terms of HP gains).
But if you have a tight budget, gaya ko, settling for Simota is not a bad idea.

mga sirs, question lang po if anybody or somebody knows kung ano puwedeng ilagay para sa isuzu sportivo na drop in air filter prefereable k&N. matagal na rin kasi ako naghahanap. Ayaw ko naman kasi iyung modified na walang housing kasi po kung minsan dinadaan ko sa medyo may mga tubig. Thank's in advance po

K&N filter is greater than Simota filter based sa mga old thread mga sir, you can search it po. Check speedlab.com.ph for test result of K&N dyno test!

I think its proven 7 - 8 hp in dyno testing!

i have a TFR isuzu pick-up. what is more recommendable to use the drop-in or the cone-type one. kung yung air filter lang ang ilalagay ko may change kaya sya sa performance without mods s exhaust and headers?
