you too bro! hope your dad is happy with the oil![]()
Next month magpapapa body repair siya. Sabay tune up and change oil na rin. I know he will get positive results.
Thanks.
Since mababa lang ang milage nya per year. Sabi mo kasi, good for 10K or once a year.

Speedyfix, with all the discussion of choosing between RP 10W-30 and 10W-40, why not use a 50-50% blend of each? I'm sure RP oils allow such a mix.
Also, does your shop have a machine that will suck out residual oil in the torque converter in automatics? Most auto transmissions drain only half of the total capacity at an ordinary oil change. With such a machine, an RP automatic transmission oil change guarantees almost 100% new oil all the time.
diba sabi 5w-30 oil is for gasoline engine lang?

meledson, yup sounds about right! keep me updated nalang
berniedd, you can actually mix the viscosities naman pero i don't know of an engine that requires a 35 viscosity oil. most will require either a 30 or 40 viscosity so normally it is best to use whichever is recommended. re: the atf machine, yup we have it in the shop but it requires quite a lot of fluid to get it pure so medyo magastos.
s_quilicot, different engines require different viscosities regardless of whether diesel or gas sila. kaya you have to use the one that is specific to your engine.
sirmykel, you're welcome bro! that's good to hear!
grid, the 5w40 is available in limited stocks and is slightly more expensive at 550/liter.
thanks ulit!
use 10w40 parin on that broyou can try the 10w30 but di ko lang kasi sure yung condition ng seals mo... baka magkleak ka if you use the thinner oil but it will definitely give better power and fuel consumption. thanks!
Hi Sir speedy Migs, what viscosity pwede sa 2003 ford lynx. Magpachangeoli ako next week when I come back.
Nagpaayos kasi ako dyan last two months ago wala lang ako time bumalik to have it checked again.
Thanks![]()
the lynx will use the 10w40 bro
sure, whenever you pass by remind either me or reynante that you want to have the belt checked nalang para di namin makalimutanseeya!
wala pa dyan. i know there are some people that carry it in the alabang area. house of tuners is one i think. the pronto will have it along south super service road.
Sir speedy, how about d2 sa North? May alam ba kayong carrier ng RP d2? I just read the whole thread and I'm inclined to use RP on my up coming oil change sana...
san ka sa north bro? way up north ba like la union o pampanga lang? kung Metro Manila North Area lang (like QC and Caloocan), sa speedlab meron din ng RP...Sir speedy, how about d2 sa North? * sir speedy
is RP better than Motul? what's the difference between the two brands?
Sir Speedyfix, I'm very sure that you're all in favor of Royal Purple. But I just want to ask your objective opinion comparing it to Motul. I have '94 Corolla AE101 Matic and currently using Motul HTECH fully synthetic and Motul fully synthetic ATF as well. But honestly, I hardly notice any difference from the previous. Will Royal Purple have a noticeable difference? Thanks.
xcompliment, sorry wala pa dyan. we can ship the oil to you if you like. you can contact me nalang for it. may shipping and handling fee though so it might make more sense to purchase it in bulk.
ezem, i prefer it. lalo na if you're going to compare it to the htec. it's a pretty long explanation though so better if i tell you in person or over the phone.
widowmaker, hard for me to say that there will be a definite difference. depends din on you and how observant you are when it comes to how the car runs. i'd prefer not to make promises though but based on the rest of the thread you should be able to come to your own conclusion on whether you want to test it or not.![]()
Any viscosity na ba yung 2,100 mo?
