It seems like Bosch brand is among the cheapest quality oil filter in the market. I inquired about the price of Bosch Oil Filter at Warren Auto Supply and surprisingly, it cost just Php150. The OEM Toyotal Oil Filter that im using cost Php462. Question is, original ba ung Bosch na un at that price?

Warren is the distributor. So I would assume na original yung binebenta nila. I have been using Bosch filters din from Warren. consistent naman quality na nabibili ko.

As for the Baldwin for Toyota, its only 215 pesos yata.

i guess it would be better if we open up our used oil or fuel filters to really find out...

For cars we seldom use, sometimes we call it the "coding vehicle". Is there a much higher chance of sludge forming inside the engine since the car is seldom use? If yes, what needs to be done to counter the sludge formation for "coding vehicle"?

Bro CB, halos tapat ng Metrobank Benavidez kahilera nung pagawaan ng starter motors at alternators. The Boschs are average performers but beter than Vics. So far Baldwin ang kumbinsing akosa quality at Mann Filter. Fleetguard from Clover are China but i think its Genuine Pacer China complete sa stampings at yung chinese symbols nandun..

Try mo din sa tapat ng Pacer, they have Caterpillar Filters. I think 3 shops yung magkakatabi selling filters.

BTW eto yung last querry re L300FB. OE MD069782 after warranty i will use BD28 na, i think kasya.. Yung lumang L300 ayawko butingtingin ang dumi eh..haha..

The Asia market Bosch have a lower quality media than the US made ones. Pretty stark difference in the filter media.



But the Asian market ones are still a good OEM replacement for normal oil change intervals of 5000klm to 8000klm.

Thanks sir. I think bosch korean made filter is already good enough at 5k-8k. But as mentioned again and again in this thread, fleetguard and baldwin are a notch better or the best filter out there in the market. The more I read this thread, the more I'm interested in getting fleetguard or baldwin (the original ones). lol.

Ako, sa soler corner gandara, 1 minute walk from volmax and 2min walk from warren......ask ko lang in your opinion mas ok ba talaga yung royal purple sa mobil1....
