We just started using the BT223 on our Grandia D-4D. Works like a charm. Still have to check the oil as this was only recently done. Next up the plate is the Innova.

Been using it now for almost 2 oil changes. So far so good. Definitely better than vic and can be extended to 6,000kms easily IMO with a good oil.

For it's price, it value for money indeed.

idol, may vertical/horizontal clearance pa ba or sagad na talaga yung space (3.5 inches BT223 length)? baka pwede din kasi yung B143, ung outer diameter nasa 3 inches lang pero 5 inches yung length. may naka display na Innova 2012 equipped with the D4D sa SM nung isang araw, sinilip ko ung engine bay pwede yung B143 (5 inches length) kahit 6 inches pa na filter pwede. dun sa Vios nung tropa ko may enough clearance din daw for a longer filter.

My ek b16 is on its 4000 km mark using valvoline oil filter from doc and zic up 10w40

Still i cant feel any sandy particles and the oil is just dark brown.

Maybe its still good for the next 6000kms? Will observe.

Yeah. Those valvoline vo-106 are awesome filters. 98% * 20 microns, 50% * 19 microns, NR at 5 microns. Estimate you can go up to 10,000KM to 12,000 KM on that.

B16 engines may also use the B166, LF3528 filters.

No it can't. There is no hose under hood that could not take that heat unless it was a tiny vacuum line.

    I just emailed Don Cross ( dcross*baldwinfilter.com )

i inquired some part numbers with accompanying pictures...

    This is the reply...

"Please read comment below from our service engineering manager. We do not make this part number ourselves as the volumes are too low.
    Don

We purchased this product from Peacock Roki Kogyo, which is in Japan, in 2008 and 2009. The last two shipments of this product have been from IPC Global Solutions and this Product is made in Indonesia.

Like fleetguard, baldwin are also making some cost cutting, by outsourcing some of their not so popular part numbers to other manufacturers... siyempre this products even though licensed by fleetguards or baldwins would suffer Quality standards, there will be some deviation in terms of their Logo, branding, outside appearance...

Most of the not so popular or best selling part numbers are made in indonesia or malaysia...
