Napansin ko pag oil filter lagi pinaguusapan baldwin, donaldson and fleetguard.

    Pag i-rate sino top 1,2,3?

Saan din distributor ng donaldson and fleetguard?

Tingin ko sa Donaldson, Gigatrade/Volmax. Yun Fleetguard, yun nasa New Manila.

    Donaldson at Fleetguard - available sa W & L - 8th St, New Manila at Durasales - C3

W&L did not have all of the Fleetguards I was looking for but the other shop had it. W&L is also selling the "fake" LF3564.

Take note the slower the flow of fluid in the filter element, the better filtration - yan din ang principle ng bypass filtration.

Sir, based on this discussion, mas "safe" ang mas mataas na BPV pressure kesa lower kasi di naman magbabara yung element basta basta so di needed magengage yung BPV. Tama? Kasi kung too low (say from 20 psi recommened, gagamit ako ng 8 psi), mag e-engage prematurely yung BPV pag rev ng engine? Did I get it right? Better if higher psi because the parameters needed to engage the BPV almost doesn't exist here compared to a "too low" psi that will prematurely engage just by simply accelerating?

The filter head is a Donaldson P563268. It fits filters with thread size 1-1/2" - 16 TPI. Much too big for our regular car oil filters.

These are the distributors of the 3 filter brands:

    1. Baldwin - Volmax is the distributor.
    2. Fleetguard - Cummins Philippines and Pacer are the distributors.
    3. Donaldson - Paleeno, Highland Tractor Parts, Hino Parts Specialists, Prudential Intertrade.

Just got back from Subic they have this great filter place that carries all the big brands and US brand oils as well. Including the ever so hard to find BD28 for the 4m40, 4M41, and Starex. And tons of other filters.

The said they had a few cases of BD28's coming in tomorrow.

Fleetguard LF3487 and its double the price of B2.

Bosch, you need to ask the store. :D

Better if you got your current filter and you use that as a basis, just to be sure.

Remote bypass oil filtration
