Until now ng bback read pdin po ko.. Pero di ko pdin malaman kung anung code yun sa fuel filter pang adventure diesel na baldwin brand or any hi end brand. Wala kasi ako alam na nagtitinda dito sa bulacan. Siguro sadyain ko nalang this week sa volmax para sure...

bro. maganda ang VIC 306 oil filter ng 4d56 engine. pag bibili ka buksan mo yun box then silipin mo sipatin mo maige yun butas ng filter VIC 306 mapapansin mo yun mga elements and components ng filter maganda. for sure e-compare mo sa ibang VIC brand any model number makikita mo magkaiba ang design. maganda parin ang VIC-306.

sorry sir, I will try oils with moly additives. I'm a convert now to moly, I think its now safe how they formulated MoS2 for engine oils.

Oil filter yata yung b7022 boss. If wala talaga, try mo wix if not magbosch ka na lang sir.

If you can't find the Baldwin B7022, you can try the Fleetguard equivalent (LF3638) or the Donaldson equivalent (P557780).

sir yung exactly ganyan wala ako nakita nyan dito na locally available nung nag modify ako.. what i did was to find something locally available at pwede mag fit sa gusto ko... ganito yung kinabit ko:

tapos meh kasama siya ng clear bowl na plastic sa bottom para mkita mo water and dirt contaminants
meh kasama na din siya fuel filter head(most important dahil dapat match sila ng filter mismo)
tapos fabricate ako sa machine shop o aircon shop ng fittings para sa kabitan hose...

*Jay, If you want modification with the Nav, i recommend to replace only the primary filter because the secondary filter construction is soo good that you don't wanna modify it not unless you could find similar filter construction (rolled media and standpipe), or be fitting FASS with inline pump.

Another consideration to take, these engines does not have in-line pump or check valve to maintain prime. Fuel is sucked from the tank directly by the engine's fuel pump, so adding a 3rd filter is not a good idea since it will add restriction.

I myself have been planning to replace the primary filter but could'nt see the necessity yet because OE filters are doing fine. Maybe i will consider this if i don't replace filters often, or if i do offraoading/ wading water, or getting fuel from non-reputable pumps. But either way, it will still be a matter of proper maintenance. The existing filters would still detect water and filter dirty fuel just like any filter.

If you're really seious about this, get the Parker Racor marine 200 series 10micron at 15GPH, clear galss buttoms have built in WiF just like our primary filter. Your problem now would be the space, the existing is soo cramped already.
