the new filter looks good since you'd be able to see how dirty your oil is. But I'm more inclined to believe that this is more of a marketing gimmick. BTW, is the material plastic or glass? either way I'd be wary of those materials since it might melt or break. I can already imagine people saying "uy, madumi na yung langis. palitan na natin" at just 1k kms hehe
