For honda 1402 gamit ko. Im not sure about 179

There are many that fit the honda, i prefer the b7243 or b140, i have plenty of the B7243 filters her as well as the valvoline ones for honda.

Ask for B1402.

B179 is wider by just a bit but shorter than B1402.

Some pics of my remote bypass dual oil filter set up.
Consist of dual remote base

Oil filter adapter for adding oil pressure and oil temp gauges, senders are in place

Remote oil drain to check oil samples from time to time without crawling under the van

AN fittings installed

I added grip tape to my filters to make changing them easier, shouldn't need a bulky oil filter wrench.

I am going to go with 1/2 hydraulic hose just because I can get it cheap from surplus
Spin on oil filter adapter that goes where the stock oil filter use to.

And a handful of old hard drive magnets (super super strong) I want to catch everything

Also pictured is my remote transmission oil filter. Gives me about 50 times better filtration over the stock tranny metal mess strainer.

Of course this system is a bit extreme but I wanted to play around with it anyways.

You can also go with a remote mount filter using one of these spin on adapters especially if you have a turbo diesel with a little baby filter like the D4D engines and Navara pick-ups. You can add a much larger filter for better flow and filtration and much longer oil change intervals.

I plan on changing my primary filter at 15000klm and secondary at 30000klm oil at 20000klm.

First filter cleans down to 5 microns second which is the Fleetguard Stratopore media cleans down to 2 microns so it will basically never see any particles over 10 microns due to the first filter.

Yeah it's over kill but since I am not in to Rims and bling best to spend on something that will make your ride last longer and reduce maintenance cost. I ended up with 4 extra universal spin on adapters that fit just about any vehicle probably sell them next year when I am actually back there.







All together a set up like this for the dual bypass system cost me about 160USD cause I shop around. Just need to add my teflon tape and tighten everything down.

would want to know if you have already installed you remote by-pass set up for your oil and A/T already.

would also want to know how did you install the set up for the A/T.

Yes this is installed, Speedlab made me a sweet little bracket for it I will post a pic tomorrow. I did replace the Fleetguard with the LF9028 which is 98.9% efficient at 5 microns. I have enough parts at the house for a single filter set for anouther car if i get one with 4 of the stratapore media filters. Should be good for about 4 years of oil changes.

My set up the oil is pretty clean looking still, just a small tint of black. I also use some really nice hydraulic hoses I brought with me. System looks sweet, Filters get pretty hot still even in the engine bay. Each filter holds a liter of oil on it's own so my capacity is also way up.

im thinking of installing the remote filter for the A/T, since this is the most neglected fluid i think. what kind of filter should i be looking at since the A/T fluid is very thick. and where can i find the adapter? thanks

dvldoc, what brand of oil pressure sensors are you using? bought myself an electrical pressure gage but the salesman from whom i ordered the part didn't knew that the gage needs a sensor. he was offering me the switch instead. bonkers! tagal ko nang problem ito.

tsikoteers, anong sasakyan kaya ang may oem oil pressure gage na sa dash? dun na lang ako magbabase at bibili sa casa if ever.

di ko pa nainstall yung lf3564 na inorder ko from miko last time. singapore din malamang ang source nun. may baldwin na ba (BD28)? or titan golds?

Well i actually pulled my pressure gauge off, with the high flow of these filters and 3000psi hydraulic hose ii dont have much to worry about, i do have a few gauges with sensors if intersted pm me they are nice,

* crazyboy, your basic oil filter will work well for tranny fluid its really not that viscouus. I got you covered if you want a remote set up for that with filters. I use a magnafine inline filter on my van currently.

Oem. And aftermarket can vary as much s 10psi, its not a big deal. And your not going to clog a baldwin, plus they have a lower operating pressure say to a VIC due to a higher flowing media,

5psi diiffernce is a none issue,

For the price of HKS oil, id rather use royal purple or mobil1.

Hks oil is toll packed by idemitsu, might as well buy idemitsu nalang.

B1400, B1402, B1431 are all the same except for the length. I would use the longest one (B1431) if it fits.
