    Hi!

Liqui Moly products is very safe to mix with engine oil just follow the instructions for the dosages. They are the only Additive manufacturer who also manufactures engine oils.

^ Easier and faster to use imaging host than uploading to forum. Just upload then copy image link then paste toimage URL(uncheck the retrieve remote file and reference locally).

BTT.. I have a Stanley strap 1/2 drive and a 24pc cup wrenches 1/4 drive, its more convenient for me to use steel belted straps as it has no attachments. If you wanto preserve the can, dont use chain or plier. Even with a grippy bare hands filter should come out - given that the previous person who installed the filter followed the recommended torque (hand-tightened)

For a bypass filter it's doing a pretty poor job at controlling soot removal, but that's kinda the norm for VIC, They just don't filter well below 25 microns.

I don't think I would use that for more than 5000klm because it's not doing a very good job. I've seen plenty of diesel filters cut and that's pretty black for a bypass filter. I don't think the enough oil is getting though the bypass sandwiched pleats do to the design of the filter. Stacked disk like that should be doing a much better job.

Also as you mentioned the uniformity of the pleats is horrible, some are bunched up, some are even some are spaced way out, production quality is poor indeed on VIC filters.

The filter held up well, and the quality looks goot. The oil is pretty black but I guess those engines just run dirty, I would do a oil catch can and EGR blockoff to clean that up a bit.
