Normally pag sagad ang gamit ng sasakyan, pina flush ko ng mumurahing oil bago ilagayj yung oil na gagamitin ko para matangal yung lumang oil.

he put 2 liters of diesel to the engine to dilute the oil before draining. then used air compressor.
mga 2 hrs after draining the pan, (simut na simut) bago kinarga yung delo 400.
1st time ko lang na experience yung ganyan. been using top1 sdo before trying delo.

I say very disappointing. hindi madulas, mas umingay yung engine.
problem is... there's still 4900km to go

Sana hinde pina start yun engine after ilagay yun diesel. Nakakpalambot kasi ng mga seals yan. At sana yun air compressor meron air-water separator.

just bought a jug of top1 hd plus diesel engine oil - crdi. is this a "real" synthetic diesel oil o only marketed as such?

actually this is my 2nd straight time i intend to use this but ever since my zic debacle i want to be sure na if what i'm buying is a genuine synthetic oil.

btw, i'm pairing it w/ a baldwin oil filter as usual.

Sabi ko sa inyo overrated ang delo oil. Ginamit ko yan sa 12 rent a car montero. Pati sa taxi ng family business at ng relatives. Ilan beses namin inulit dahil mura din bigay pero wala talaga ang gaspang ng takbo. Same with shell gaspang na pigil takbo.

So its better to try the oil and compare.

Currently trying Pertua's Exello oil for diesel engine. So far smooth even on start ups and ok acceleration.

So its better to try the oil and compare.

Sir, i have the same oil for my upcoming change oil this coming weekend. first time to try these formulation of zic. Dati Zic RV ako and Top 1 SDO. I believe your ride is a TCI starex?

My Innova currently have Delo Gold in it.
Coming from Toyota Fully Synthetic, I'd say it is good in its first 1000kms.

I have to see if it will maintain its performance until the next oil change (after 3,500kms or 4 months). Yes, I am experimenting on 3 oil changes in one year (instead to two) using mineral oil.

Please keep all receipts also an excel file hehehe. Its tedious but well worth the information and good when its time to sell the vehicle.

Ngayon sa business we alternate valvoline, zic, castrol. Subok na namin.

For our personal car gamit ko for gasoline engine zic a+, castrol edge, synpower. Pag pumunta pinsan ko sa america sa kanya ako nagpapadala yung mga hindi available na oil locally pero hindi practical kasi problem consistency sa pag gamit.

So kung sa metro manila ka bibili advice ko pinalowest price na rated dexos 1, ILsac gf-5, api sn for gasoline engine.

Sir, ano po auto nyo? Pwede mo rin po check sa owner's manual kung ano po ang SAE viscosity at API rating ang recommended. Then later saka natin pag usapan ang brands.

Sir Nissan Sylphy po manual. Sa manual po recommended 10w/30 but nun nag Pms po ako 1k nilagay nila elf 5w/40 then sa 5k at 10k pms ako na nagdala oil ko shell 5w/40 till now yun na gamit sir. I'm thinking po next yun castrol na brand po e. Your inputs are highly appreciated sir. Ty
