If one can source synthetics that pass Euro OE specs at around or a lil over the cost of American, which mostly are refined dino oil labeled as full synthetics, then, why not?[emoji4]

The chart there says everything. The A3/B4 is much more protective.

Not sure if there was an upgrade to ACEA 2010.

majority requires fs now. ford and gm and Chrysler proprietary formulas require full synth base oil. and majority of europeans.

I think only the japanese stil recommend api-sn because of the shorter intervals. mitsu toyota nissan subaru and mazda recommends.

and guess which engines are most reliable lol.

my ford specs a ford certification WSS-something something which are available as FS and semi

if you open the USA user's manual for this engine it says "API SN" is acceptable

so when my warranty expires i'll be using API-SN

FordMaz sellls Ford-spec Motorcraft oils for both gasoline and diesel engines. They have both 5w20 and 5w30 viscosities, with API SN Resource Conserving (SN+), ILSAC GF5 rating. The 5w30 costs 450 per liter while the 5w20 is 600+.

Can I use car engine oil for the engine of my concrete mixer? The engine is a 6.5hp motor star brand. Thanks

BTW, manual says use 4 stroke oil, 5w30, when I researched it, car engine oil is 4 stroke oil din right? Thanks again.

While it will probably work, i think it's better to use 4t motorcycle oil.

Thanks for the reply Sir Ravenblack and Doc, I did not see any 4T written on the manual but then yes, it is similar to a motorcycle since it is air cooled.

To play safe, maybe i'll just use 4T, as it is for 4-stroke and high temp motorcycle engine.

ok lang pang car gamitin mo na oil sir kasi wala namang wet clutch yung engine mo, 4t oils are designed for motorcycle with wet clutch.

Just this morning I noticed na merong smudge of oil leak makita ko sa cover ng ilalim ng engine or skid plate pero hiblndi metal yung orig pa na parag rubber.

Dahil nga sa smudge I went to a nearby tayler at duon makita nila na hindi na tighten yung drain plug and because of this 1/2 liter of engine oil ang nagleak.

Yung last PMS ko is sa Toyota casa early this month mga March first week. Haaaayyy

So I had to top up 1/2 litrt of 5w30 oil fully synthetic Total brand. Yung nasa engine oil ko is 5w30 fully synthetic from Toyota casa. Ok lang ba yung halo halong ibang brand although same viscosity?

Haaay Toyota casa, akala ko mas mainam sila gumawa.....

I bought mine on sale for only Php1,400 at Rob Handyman a few weeks ago. (Madami sila chemicals for auto maintenance on sale).

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
