However, your declaration that it is the oil that makes the compression rather than the piston rings is a bit too stiff for me to digest. I do overhaul compressors with pistons the size of an ICE. Out of curiosity I inserted the piston in the cylinder without oil lubrication and guess what? I could feel the resistance of the air when the piston is pushed in the cylinder, indicating that the piston is compressing the air. If air leaks through it us minimal to be considered. The compression rings see to it that it is compressing the air.
Now, applying this to an ICE, the piston has 3 rings, 2 for compression and 1 for oil scraping. The work of the oil is nothing more than just to enhance compression, which any ordinary oil can do. Oil film adheres to cylinder and the rings, upon the TDC, the ignition is done. All AF mixture is then burned within the cylinder space. At the start of the power stroke, the piston goes down and the oil ring is scraping the oil film which adheres to the cylinder. If and ever if, for every combustion a certain amount of oil is burned, then the engine is loosing oil which will be detrimental to the engine. Now, going back to my first query, is the GTO able to withstand the combustion temperature that it is able to retain its properties and convert the carbon soot back into usable lubricant as claimed?
Now, listen. I have been using an oil additive that leaves a teflon coating in the moving parts that it enhances lubrication and protects the engine against wear and tear. By using this, it improves my fuel efficiency as it creates less friction as teflon is the world's slipperiest element. My engine is now running more than 300K km without major breakdown. I told this to a friend and he uses it on his station wagon. One time, while driving, he hits an obstruction cracking his oil pan. Oil leaked and after driving few kilometers, without his knowledge, there is no more oil in the crankcase. He continued to drive for more than 5 km till he reached home. the next day, he was surprised that there is no oil in his engine but the engine is still working perfectly. A friend was drag racing and been using this brand. His vehicle is a mopped up owner but no car can beat him, not event he much vaunted SRI. Shall I tell my other friend, a dirt biker who . . .? Sounds familiar?
Now, I've learned that this product is manufactured in China? China?
US technology, Russian technology, they are all made in Taiwan?
