How about Baldwin or Amsoil oil filters? They are available in Lazada.

Mahal yung Amsoil EA filter coz its made of synthetic microglass media. Designed for extended oil change intervals. If you don't do an extended OCI sayang lang.

sobrang overprice yung langis royal purple at amsoil. Tapos yung oil filter subcontract pa. Hindi naman sila mismo gumawa nyan.

More on marketing na style nila. Remember the father of marketing eh amerkano the car salesman.

Just follow the API ACEA GM ILSAC rating and viscosity.

Jan legit nagbebenta langis at filter. Doon lumalangoy ng bd28 at cummins na counterpart kaso hinid ako makakabili kasi wala ako desel and im not planning to own one. Im just pure gaso kind of guy.

Most oils within the API SN/SN+, GM dexos2, ILSAC GF5, ACEA ratings with viscosities 5w30 or below are synthetic already. Yung mineral oil na low viscosity is 10w30 while yung mga semi-synthetic is 5w40.

Kung kotse mo requires 5w30 or 5w20 or 0w20, no choice ka but to buy fully synthetic. Unless of course, pasaway ka at di mo sundin yung manual.

So ang focus eh API and viscosity. KAsi kahit nakaufully pero if wrong viscosity eh pangit takbo.

Majority nakaindicate na fully eh not true fully.

Not sure with royal purple pero pano naging overpriced ang amsoil? Hindi pa umabot ng 3k ang 4 quarts ng top of the line oil. Yung mobil1 sobra 3k, purporting to be “fully synthetic” pa.

Yun Signature Series nila yun 700+ for longer drain interval. They also have yun Amsoil OE 100% synthetic around 440 to 470 php yun for manufacturer recommended OCI.

yung around 400 eh pwede yan pero pag 700 na kahit imarketing nya good for 20,000kms eh bibili na lang ako ng 400pesos at every 10,000kms ko papalitan so mas fresh yung next oil change ko.

the problem kasi with royal purple and amsoil yung pagmarketing nila eh more of trying to be special pero ang key lang naman eh follow the rating and viscosity. Masyado nila hinahighlight yung group 4 para makaoverprice.

If you back read, si dvldoc yung nagpasikat ng bd28 sa pinas.

Some modern engines with turbo requires oil which are API SN Plus certified now. I doubt most oils na tag 400 na binebenta dito sa atin can prevent LSPI.

Mostly likely 3/4-16 ang thread size ng oil filter for the Fiesta. You can check online kung anong part numbers ang applicable for the Fiesta then cross refer with other brands.

Amsoil SS has better TBN and lower noack.

Amsoil SS does not carry the official API donut certification unlike Amsoil OE.

Nabasa ko na Amsoil SS will not harm our catalytic converter naman even higher yun zddp and they are using different ZDDP that will not harm the catalytic converter ata and at the same time provide the benefit of anti wear protection.

Just wanted to know your thoughts on this.

    Thanks. [emoji16]

price notwithstanding, most likely you will not be able to tell the difference between the two especially under normal driving
